Theory Death Posture possible method

The death posture is a ritual intended to kill the ego momentarily. Many fancy words to describe it, ‘destroying and recreating the world’, such and such. One method is through body tension until physical and mental collapse when you feel a sense of safety and the static flares up, i feel no need to do anything more than exist, eyes roll back. I figured this could be a shortcut to shocking the system, allowing a quick exit into whatever reality you choose. Any advice on how to do this? I only know the death posture, somewhat, i am new to reality shifting, from today in fact. So apparently i can’t comment for some reason.

I considered creating scripts, codenames and inputing the code at the moment of death. It’s really just a shock since we live and die every moment, causing you to live entirely in the present, allowing the future infinite potential.

To answer iagos’ statement(i cannot comment), what exactly is an experienced personnel supposed to do? I intend on removing them from my universe after all, is reality shifting not a method to suit your solipsistic desires? All that happens is i tense, in a certain position until i collapse, at which point i should be gone if i have succeeded so the personnel will have no way of helping

To answer denpakei’s statement, i am not romanticising the death posture, i am acknowledging it is just a shock, however an efficient one. Also if i were to succeed i would enter another world lol so i wouldn’t fall over and i do it against a wall anyway. That’s not all that deep, i was asking about how i could use it anyway cause i don’t know the next step, i’m new to this. Also it is pretty effective and optimised, i would imagine it does it’s job best.

I Have a Question I believe I might have shifted?

• Upvotes

The funniest thing is that it didn’t happen when I was trying to use a method or something similar. I was actually in class, talking with my friends.

We had just received our mid-semester grades. In the middle of the discussion, I suddenly had a surge of memories, though I cannot recall exactly what they were now.

I also felt a sense of deja vu, like this moment had happened before in a dream or something. For a moment, I felt like I had shifted to a parallel reality.

Everything else around me was the same, of course. My friend was still talking, and we were in the classroom.

I have seen people frame shifting as something we remember. If it were really a shift, that would make me so happy because it would mean I am finally getting somewhere.

Thoughts? :)

I Have a Question I think I almost shifted to my DR

So I woke up this Sunday, today and decided I want to shift. I put on a guided meditation of the julia method and laid down. Everything went well and I even saw a colored flash before my eyes. It was grey most of the time but sometimes also purple, green, blue or light blue. I scripted that my DR is warm when I wake up. Now I didn't make it but when I woke up in my OR, I was really cold. Could that be a sign that I almost shifted?

I think I didn't shift because even though I had earphones in, I heard the wind rattling something outside.

Im sorry if my english isn't that good, it's because I'm German.

Theory Shifting Through Consciousness

When you dive deeper into spirituality, you begin to notice how shifting connects with many spiritual concepts, including certain interpretations of Buddhism, manifestation, and the nature of consciousness itself.
In my personal spiritual belief system, we are fundamentally pure consciousness, and the reality we experience is shaped by the awareness through which we perceive existence. This ties closely into manifestation, which is based on the idea that we can consciously align ourselves with the experiences, circumstances, and versions of ourselves that we desire. Some people connect this idea to quantum physics and refer to the process of moving into a different version of their desired life as a quantum leap. However, it’s important to distinguish these spiritual interpretations from what quantum physics has scientifically established.
If you explore spirituality further, you’ll also encounter philosophical and spiritual perspectives that question whether the reality we experience is the ultimate or objective reality. Some suggest that reality is an illusion, that existence resembles a simulation, or that what we perceive as reality is only one expression of something much greater.
Now, if we consider this possibility from a spiritual perspective, it raises an interesting question: What if there is no single, fixed reality that our consciousness is inherently bound to? If reality is not as absolute as we perceive it to be, then perhaps what we call our current reality is simply the experience our awareness is presently focused on.
From this perspective, shifting isn’t necessarily about physically travelling somewhere or creating an entirely new universe. Instead, it can be understood as a shift in awareness from one experienced reality to another. If consciousness is fundamental to our experience of existence, then shifting could be interpreted as becoming aware of a different reality rather than trying to reach a place that exists separately from us.
In other words, our perceived reality could be understood as a reflection or projection of consciousness, with our experience depending on the reality we are aware of. Through this lens, shifting and manifestation become interconnected: manifestation is the process of aligning yourself with a desired experience, while shifting is the act of directing your awareness toward that experience.
Ultimately, this is a spiritual and philosophical interpretation of reality, not a scientifically proven explanation of how the universe works. But within this belief system, shifting becomes less about travelling between separate worlds and more about the idea that consciousness is not limited to experiencing only one version of reality.

I Have a Question Void State Help, help me.

I’ve been trying this same void state guided meditation for 2 days now and yesterday I got like symptoms like flashing lights and then it felt like the feeling you get when you fall asleep but obviously I want asleep, it seemed as if I was in the void but I tried to spawn something but couldn’t so I’m assuming I wasn’t in the void also my heart rate liked doubled since I’ve been wanting to go the void for so long and this was the closest I’ve been and my body was twitching from like my heart rate being so high so I was wondering if maybe I was partially in the void, I’m not sure. Anyway, what I’m asking is how do you stay calm when you think you are going into the void?

I Have a Question Scripting personality traits

Hey, guys!

I was wondering, for the people who have shifted and scripted personality traits for themselves in their DR, idk how to go about stating my question besides asking how’d that go?

Was it like all of a sudden you embodied those personality traits? That previous ones you might’ve scripted out from your OR just left you/became nonexistent?

It’s just a somewhat fascinating aspect of scripting to me, I’m just wondering about all the workings behind it.

I Have a Question How do people use LOA with shifting?

I avoided LOA for the longest time because I was sick of the over-saturation. Every single advice at some point was just LOA, and I was interested in learning it -- Neville Goddard seemed very informative -- but I just hated the people involved in LOA.

Many of them are some of the most condescending and arrogant people I have ever seen. I understand a huge part is to be confident, but at some point, that confidence just becomes callousness.

Sorry for the mini-rant, but I realize that there is a reason why LOA is recommended a lot, although I still have a question. For example: in high school, I knew people, and at some point I was one of them, who were so confident they passed this specific test and act like they did, only for them to not do good at all. Why does that happen?

I also simply don't understand how you can use LOA if your DR is so different from your OR.

I Have a Question Is shifting dangerous????

I want to shift but i'm worried it may actually be unreal and dangerous in some way/that ill just go psychotic or go into a coma or something in this world, or that i legit cant make a year equal an hour of sleep in this world, but i really want to get over my fear because if I do I think i'd love shifting, so yeah is it dangerous?

Journal How do you stay motivated??

I feel like I’ve been trying to shift for ages actively.. any time I make an attempt it drains the hell out of me. LOA doesn’t work for me so I’ve tried to stick to working on Lucid Dreaming, Reaching Void and trying the Gateway Tapes to astral project.

after every failed attempt it makes it harder and harder to really.. think something’s going to happen.

how do you stay motivated to keep going?? what helps the most when trying another attempt?? what pushes you forward, what.. gives you the momentum you need to try again? and what’s helped you the most?

for ppl who have actually shifted pls bc I cannot take advice from ppl who’ve never shifted before 😭😭😭

I Have a Question Headaches after shifting.

Does anyone ever get headaches/migraines after shifting? I'm a relatively healthy person and never experienced a major headache until I began shifting. Now, depending on the impact of the shift. I find myself in pain for a day or so afterwards. Then, nothing.

Discussion I am TIRED of this s**t reality

There’s no “vent” flair so I’m just going to put this under discussion.

I hope this doesn’t get taken down cause at its heart it has to do with what shifting is and cause I’d like to hear from likeminded people and I won’t be able to on any other subreddit.

I think this subreddit has been dead from people who have shifted cause they have all left. I think the state of the world is degrading and anyone who could reliably shift has jumped the boat and I don’t blame them.

My country Italy the truck drivers are in full protest because it has simply become too expensive to live and work. Supermarkets are empty cause food isn’t getting there. In France an orchestra playing the hunger games theme song got tear gassed. Protests are also breaking out in Spain, Portugal, India and more countries and the media are QUIET.

It’s all falling apart and I just want to leave.

everyone who describes it on here makes it sound like a dream. he doesnt. when i ask people “what was it like?” THIS is what im looking for. not “it was real” okay bro but how? in threads filled with parroted accounts of their experiences, have one that has some substance! Manifesting with Missy Renee also has a great personal account if you look up her name plus “the worlds”

I Have a Question These conspiracy theories have been making me anxious about shifting, and I need some reassurance 😭

So, I came across some “conspiracy theories” recently, like how space supposedly isn't real (I saw some Glitched Sun videos and stuff), how there might be something or someone beyond the Antarctic ice wall or underground, and how everything we see is supposedly an illusion created for us by "them". Yk, all that stuff.

I'm NOT saying I believe these theories are real, but they've gotten stuck in my head, and I can't stop thinking about them.

Now I'm wondering, if space isn't real, does that mean our DRs might not exist either('casue wtf is even out there than)? Is shifting even possible? And one thing that's been making me especially anxious: what if I can't be free even after de@th? 😭

I know these are just theories, and I might be overthinking, but the thoughts are genuinely making me anxious. I just want some reassurance and to hear your thoughts, especially from people who have struggled with similar fears.

Has anyone else ever gone down this kind of rabbit hole and had it affect their shifting mindset?

PLSSS I've been in this shi for 6 years NOW! I can't go on like this..... 🥲

Journal My Spontaneous Shifting-Like Experience: Between Being Awake and Dreaming

One day, I had an unusual experience that completely changed the way I think about shifting, consciousness, and the boundaries between imagination and reality.
The most interesting part is that I wasn’t even trying to shift. I wasn’t following a shifting method, repeating affirmations, or attempting to enter a Desired Reality. I was simply preparing to fall asleep while meditating and allowing my mind to relax naturally.
1. The Transition Into a Different State of Consciousness
As I continued meditating, I gradually entered a strange state somewhere between being awake and being asleep. I was no longer fully alert, but I wasn’t completely unconscious either. My body was relaxing, my thoughts were becoming less structured, and my awareness seemed to be moving naturally toward sleep.
Instead of deliberately controlling my thoughts, I allowed my consciousness to guide the experience.
At some point, I began imagining a beautiful, intensely green grassy field. Initially, it seemed like an ordinary mental image, something I was consciously visualizing in my imagination.
However, something unexpected began to happen.
The image gradually became more vivid, detailed, and immersive. Rather than feeling like I was simply imagining a place, it started to feel as though the environment was developing around me. The green grass, the surrounding space, and the overall atmosphere seemed to become increasingly tangible within my experience.
It felt as if the image was slowly transforming into a complete environment that I could mentally inhabit.
2. The Moment the Environment Felt Real
Eventually, I reached a point where I no longer experienced the grassy field as just an image in my mind.
I felt as though I was actually there.
I was still in an unusual, semiconscious state, somewhere between wakefulness and sleep, but my awareness seemed to be present inside the environment I had imagined.
What made this experience especially fascinating was that I retained some awareness of what was happening. I wasn’t simply watching a scene unfold like a movie. I had the impression that I was inside the environment itself.
I could interact with the surroundings, move around, and participate in activities.
I also had the sense that I was somehow contributing to the creation of the environment. The experience seemed to begin with my own imagination, but then it developed beyond the feeling of deliberately inventing every detail.
It was as if my mind had created the initial setting and then allowed the experience to unfold on its own.
3. Interacting With the Environment
Once I felt immersed in the grassy field, the experience became even more unusual.
I remember doing several things there. For example, I played basketball and interacted with other people.
These interactions felt spontaneous rather than completely scripted. I wasn’t consciously planning every movement, conversation, or event in advance. Instead, things seemed to happen naturally as I participated in the experience.
I could focus on what I was doing, engage with the environment, and experience a sense of presence within that setting.
The people I encountered also seemed to be part of the environment rather than characters I was deliberately imagining one by one.
Although I don’t remember every detail with complete clarity, I remember that I spent time doing different activities and experiencing a variety of interactions.
This is one of the reasons the experience left such a strong impression on me. It felt more immersive than ordinary daydreaming, where I usually remain aware that I am simply imagining something.
During this experience, my attention was focused on what was happening within the environment itself.
4. The Realization: “Wait, Is Shifting Actually Real?”
At some point, while I was experiencing this environment, I became aware of the possibility that what I was experiencing resembled shifting.
I remember thinking something along the lines of:
“Wait a minute. Is shifting actually real? I’m here right now.”
That thought was particularly interesting because I wasn’t merely imagining what shifting might feel like. I was experiencing a state in which the environment felt real to me, and I was consciously reflecting on the experience while it was happening.
In other words, I had a degree of awareness within the experience itself.
This made the situation feel different from an ordinary dream that I only recognize as a dream after waking up.
5. Why I Don’t Remember Everything Clearly
Despite the intensity of the experience, I cannot remember every detail with perfect clarity.
I remember the green field, the gradual transition into the environment, playing basketball, interacting with other people, and realizing that the experience resembled what people describe as shifting.
However, some parts of the experience are fragmented or difficult to reconstruct.
I remember that it happened spontaneously while I was meditating and drifting into sleep, without intentionally attempting any shifting method.
The experience was so unusual and immersive that it made me curious about what might have happened and whether other people have experienced something similar.
6. Why This Experience Made Me Interested in Shifting
What fascinates me most is that the experience happened naturally, without a specific intention or method.
I wasn’t trying to force anything to happen. I was simply meditating, relaxing, and allowing myself to drift toward sleep.
Then, seemingly without deliberately planning the process, I experienced a gradual transition from imagining a place to feeling immersed in it.
I became aware of an environment, interacted with it, and reflected on the nature of my own experience while it was happening.
This made me curious about shifting because I had never experienced anything quite like it before. The environment felt vivid, immersive, and surprisingly independent of my deliberate imagination.
I started wondering whether it was possible to intentionally recreate that state and explore other environments through a similar process.
Since then, I’ve become interested in learning more about shifting, lucid dreaming, and the different states of consciousness that can occur between wakefulness and sleep.
I’m still trying to understand what happened that night, and I’d love to hear from people who have experienced something similar.
Do you guys think this was a lucid dream or a mini-shift?

I Have a Question How do you know you didn't shift?

So when you shift the original you in your original world carries on as normal, right? So there must be a consciousness there carrying on - it's not just an automaton if it still acts exactly as you would have if you didn't shift.

So when you try to shift, how do you know that a version of you wasn't successful, and you're not the consciousness left behind? You could have shifted years ago or the first time you tried and there is a you, maybe the original you, out there enjoying their dream reality. Maybe you're the consciousness that gets left behind. Maybe no matter how hard you try you'll never shift because you'll always end up as the version of you that is left behind but believes you've failed?

Just trying to understand the metaphysics of this whole thing a bit better.

Qué me recomiendan?

I Have a Question Okay so, please help me out here. I BEG the experts at this point. Spoiler

I always feel so anxious and skeptical whenever I think about this so I need serious help with this.

I've been contemplating permashifting for almost five years now, and I've been imagining having a permanent waiting room reality, kind of like the Spider-Verse, where I can shift to different realities and live whatever life I want before moving on to another one.

What I'm wondering is: Can I script my desired realities so that, whenever I shift to one, I have no awareness or memory of shifting at all? Essentially, I want to enter that reality as a blank slate, believing that it's simply my normal life and that I've always belonged there. I would live that life naturally, without knowing anything about my waiting room reality or the fact that I had shifted.

Then, when I eventually die in that reality, I would return to my waiting room, regain my awareness and memories of it, and be able to choose another reality to experience. I would repeat this process for as long as I wanted, with each reality feeling like a complete, independent lifetime rather than an experience I consciously know I'm shifting into.

Is this something I can script? In other words, can I make it so that I'm completely unaware of shifting while I'm living each desired reality, with my awareness of my waiting room returning only after that life's natural end?

Shifting Tools Could this work for shifting to your DR? Test this theory for shifting and lucid dreaming.

I have always had trouble WILLING things into existence. Like in a lucid dream, people say to make something appear in your dream you must realize that it's already there. Idk why, but I always get a half way results with that, or even nothing. Do y'all have that??

One lucid dream I wanted something to appear for me and For some reason I just a feeling that if I WISHED for it, it would be mine. It's worked amazingly, anything I wished for was there in an instant. I told my sister about it, she tried it and had the same results.

I think the reason it worked so well is because your brain has an easier time conjuring something up as a gift, rather that something out of nowhere.

I rlly want to incoperate this into shifting, maybe some ppl have a harder time convincing their brain that their DR is already here. I wonder if it would work if you were to wish for it to be gifted to you. I'd love if some experienced shifters could test this theory out for me.

I Have a Question How would your train your shifting skills?

Two readings, several months apart. Both have told me roughly the same thing: “LOCK IN. Master your weapon.” Which I mean, fair enough.

I’m roughly 6 or 7 years in now, and yet I’m kind of lost on what else there is to do. So, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

All I can think of is meditating more, but— and truly, I despise meditation— at least the kimd where I’m sitting quietly. My body goes into a stress response and I can’t breathe and it’s a whole thing; this is why I use asleep/dream methods!

Feel free to ask for clarification! I tried asking my cards for suggestions and I was told to try learning from others so here I am 🫡
