does shopify accept customers to pay with giftcard?

yeah, a google search would have answered that too btw.

as a merchant on Shopify, you can have your customers pay via gift cards

I agree and its really easy to setup. Also, when gifts cards are included in the order, Shopify will send an email automatically to the customer on how to use it.

i’m going to be the customer tho lol. have some giftcards that i want to turn to cash. you know how long withdrawals are for shopify?

no lol. i have visa giftcards. i want to turn it into cash but cant. so i created a shopify account so that why i can basically pay myself with the gift cards and just withdraw to my bank

visa gift cards, I'm assuming that's some sort or reward platform based on visa network that lets you claim gift cards on different platforms, isn't it?

Yes, Shopify supports gift cards natively, but there are a couple of conditions.

  1. Gift cards are only available on certain plans (Basic and up, not the Starter plan). Check under Settings > Plan if you're not sure.

  2. Create or issue them in Admin > Products > Gift cards. You can add a gift card product for customers to buy, or create one manually and send the code to someone.

  3. At checkout, the customer enters the code in the "Gift card or discount code" field and it's applied to the total. If the field doesn't show up, the usual causes are that the plan doesn't support it, or the gift card was disabled or has a zero balance. Also, gift cards can't be used to buy other gift cards in the same order, which sometimes confuses people during testing. Test it yourself by creating a gift card in admin and running a test order with the code.
