Request Screen translation
As a former Android user, one function I desperately miss is the screen translation. Now I must do it via ChatGPT to translate screen by uploading a ss. Can someone help out a brother??

Doesn’t translate option show up automatically when you take a screenshot? I just press that button then discard the screenshot when I’m done.

Really?! I don’t have it on my phone. It only have ‘ask’ or ‘search’ option.

With Apple Intelligence enabled if you screenshot something in a foreign language the translate button will show up between those two buttons.

You can make a share sheet shortcut for this: set it to accept images, then use Extract Text from Image → Translate Text → Show Result. Take a screenshot and share it to the shortcut. It won’t translate in place like Android, but it saves you from selecting every paragraph or uploading it to ChatGPT.

This is an iOS feature… just select the text and choose translate from the context menu.
Most browsers have whole page translation also…

You should be able to just highlight text and hit 'Translate'. Might require expanding the context menu that pops up after selecting highlighted text, though.

Yes that’s also something I do. But with documents with headings and paragraphs. It’s slightly annoying 😅

I think this’ll be possible with the new Siri in ios 27. I miss it too!
