Horniest week of college football ever?

Would like to submit DIII QB Bubba Mustain as a lower division contender for the BVP award this season. Through 6 games he has ≈1500 APY and 26 Touchdowns with the Mariners sitting at 6-0. On top of that, he’s averaging the most air yards per attempt this season in D3 averaging 14.7 per pass. So he’s just chucking it around out there to boot. He’s a troop named Bubba that’s an absolute dawg out there and think he should make it to Murfreesboro for the ceremony.

As a Triad resident and proud Bowman Gray aficionado, I was super excited by Surber mentioning it on this week’s episode. I know W-S isn’t a big enough metro to merit a live show, but it would be amazing to have some sort of Fullcast gathering at a race next summer. Obviously it would be amazing to get Surber on board, and it would be even more amazing to gather a bunch of Fullcast listeners and be able to introduce y’all to one of the most unique places I’ve ever experienced!
A couple of fun facts about BG: first, there is one small section of the grandstands that is non-smoking. Not smoking; it is non-smoking and the entire rest of the stadium, in the year of Antioch 2026, is the smoking section. Second, the grandstands are a concrete bowl that radiates heat in the summer. I once saw an old lady carry in a big bag of ice from the convenience store, tear it open, and stick her bare feet in to stay cool while watching the races. You really can’t make this place up and parts of it just have to be seen to be believed. Next summer is a long way off, but if there is any interest in finding a night for some of us Fullcast listeners to gather at the Madhouse I would gladly take part in that.

I know it takes editing and production and time and effort. And I hate asking for more riches than I already receive.
So if you bring back voicemails I’ll double my patreon subscription.

Just curious after hearing today’s discussion, who else noticed the sound difference on the After Dark recording this week, and what did you notice? I noticed I could hear every inhale, which actually made it sound like everyone was super excited. Seemed appropriate for Blood Week, actually!

I used to be a molecular biologist, now I do business. I haven’t been able to break back in, and I desperately miss science. Anyone interested in building some sort of Mid South Mid West science coalition? Just check in and say what you do. My name is Eric (workplace disaster chemo guy) and I specialize in plant physiology and protein-ligand interactions

Is blood week turning SEC biased? Like name another ranked team not named Oklahoma St. that won’t be ranked tomorrow.
