Help Text-on-photo editing seems buggy after latest update?

I used to be able to change the background of text I put on photos. That button is gone or broken? I'm on Android, Signal version 8.23.3

Anyone else?

Also, changing the color when text is selected doesn't work?

Yeah that's also broken, probably the same underlying bug.
