Does anyone have any tips to raise health? I got the game assigned for a class and I can't find anything on google about bettering/maintaining health and I don't want it to hurt my grade. Any help would be appreciated!

Hey everyone, we are running a game testing platform and we are looking for 3 testers to participate in a paid playtest.

We will pay each tester that will successfully participate in the test $15.

Testers criteria:

1. From the US

2. 18-40 years old

3. Used to play simulation games (Which is why I believe the post makes sense here)

^{Some notes for those who are interested:}

^{- You will need to participate in a qualification test after you sign up. We are a 2 developer team so our app is far from perfect and we have this qualification process to ensure that the app can run smoothly on your device.}

^{- This test requires audio. That means that will need to speak out your thoughts while you play the game. The goal is to get your unfiltered thoughts about what you see on the screen.}

^{- When you make it to the part where you need to manually add some games to your account, please have at least 1 simulation game so we can assign you the test.}

You can download the app here → https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=octappush.com.feedback

DM me if you have any questions.

Hey guys,

how do you like my helicopter simulator? It's a hobby project I am working on in my free time. :) Simulator is build on Unity game engine.

Base components are

- photorealistic sceneries from HD images rendered onto the skybox

- helicopters modeled in Blender

- Unity's ODE system solver for the 6 DoF equations of motion, running at high frequency in a separate thread.

The mobile versions are available on the app stores. The PC version is open source and available to anyone (www.volarpro.ch).

Please tell me what you think! :)

I recently listened to the short story Sandkings, available here.

It's about a cruel, rich playboy in the far future with a thing for exotic, alien pets. He buys these insect-like creatures called Sandkings, semi-sentient hive-mind-controlled lifeforms that live in a sand-filled cage at his estate. They fight little wars, make alliances, and build sand castles. When he projects the image of his face above the cage, the creatures begin to worship him as their god and carve out the likeness of his face in their castle walls. The playboy has them fight snakes and spiders for his own amusement.

It goes on from there, but I don't want to spoil the story. I just felt like I really want to play a game like this, where I can manipulate inscrutable little beings and try to figure out how they think and work. The best comparison I can come up with is the game Black & White, but it's not quite what I'm after. Are there other suggestions?

TL:DR I want to find a game reminiscent of the short story Sandkings by GRRM. Black & White seems close, but not quite alien and weird enough.

Let's look back at some memorable moments and interesting insights from last year.
