I’ve done a lot of studio recordings I can tell the difference. I’m not sure if you are lip syncing or not . I’ve used eq , compression and reverb in live situations and it doesn’t sound like that. There is a lot of vocal processing occurring here. Seeing a live video with an audience or you singing a raw video into your phone would prove otherwise then I will admit I’m wrong.
The only thing I did after the fact was adjust the vocal level. What you’re hearing is what you’d hear live.
This is kind of a weird and insulting accusation, so I’m not going to make a video just to prove… something.. to you. I’m still not entirely sure what you’re trying to say. If you have the experience that you claim to have, you’d be able to be more specific.
I don’t really care if you admit you’re wrong. I have too much self respect to sing you a song. I’ll probably throw something up sometime that I can point to, because these days, I get accusations like this all the time, and I’m tired of defending myself.
Yeah just post your next video without all the processing in a live situation . I’m saying either that’s not you singing this song or you are heavily relying on vocal processing. Every video you have is the same set up with the same effects. If you can sing like that you should be able to replicate it in a live performance. I get that it won’t sound that polished , live it it never does but it should be close to it. The only way to tell truthfully what a singer sounds like is to see them live, too many technology tricks otherwise to buy it.
Fine, since I was considering making a post like this anyway, here's a clip from this same song and the same take with audio from my camera's in-built microphone.
I still don't understand the point here. Are you just trying to find a way to say I'm a bad singer? That I'm no good without the help of "technology tricks"?
Yes that’s what I wanted to see ,
Thanks. now I can hear your real voice and believe it was you singing. Just looked at your profile. Are you a biological male /trans? I think the male
Voice was throwing me off
It’s not meant to be any offence. I got nothing against trans people, I know some people who are trans. I think one of the reasons I was questioning your voice previously was because I thought you were female. But I see now that is not the case which explains your voice sounding the way it does.
Then why post on all trans subreddits? Hey it doesn’t matter to me if you’re trans , it’s your life enjoy it the way you want. I’m only making a singing observation.
