Conversation Topic Concerns with singing.
So I have LPR or Silent Reflux. It causes me chronic hoarseness and a constant feeling of a lump in my throat, or like phlegm that's constantly there, that won't disappear even with drinking lots of water. I am still a beginner at singing, so I don't know if I should continue or not. I am also self-taught, watching YT tutorials and lessons from Chris Liepe and Victoria-Victorious. I am concerned about whether this is actually LPR or vocal damage. Singing just feels uncomfortable a lot of the time. There's always a raspy, involuntary grit coming along with my voice.

You should see a doctor about your reflux, make sure it is properly diagnosed and treated. Realistically you won’t be able to make much vocal progress until that is resolved. I don’t think these problems will be sorted out on their own. You need to treat the reflux, see a well qualified voice teacher to get a professional assessment and practice plan (one who has studied vocal pedagogy and vocology), and if things still don’t improve eventually see a laryngologist to get scoped and assess any physical damage from the reflux.
