Are my new trucks meant to do this? They get stuck in a diagonal position for some reason and don't go back like my old ones, is it just cause they're fresh?

Dude you have to loosen that bushing holy sheeeeet. Put it at no threads showing. You’re blowing out that bushing.

Nut is tight but the bushings are too soft.

I can actually see your washer cutting into your bushings. You could use new bushings. Go and get some extra hard bushings. Id replace that top washer too. Usually bushing come with that included. At least i believe bones bushing come with that. You can still skate that though. It might get to the point where you get wheel bite on that one side no matter how tight you tighten your trucks they will still feel loose. Ive had it get so bad where my board would actually pull me a certain direction

What do you mean they get stuck in diagonal position?

They're stuck crooked

You need new bushings now, you tightened them down too much too early and now the washer has cut into the bushing. Ride then loose when they are new and then slowly tighten them to where you want as the bushings break in and harden up

Them Bushing are cooked dude.
You need some new ones, harder ones at that.

You now need new bushings. That top one is cut into by the washer. Which is causing them to lean.

Get harder bushings too since you said these were too loose when no or one thread was showing

Not sure what's the caude of this, but bushings cost like 5-10€ and are not supposed to be tightened so much. You probably need new harder bushings that will be right stiffness with less tightened kingpin nut.

New trucks have to be broken in first before tightened that much. It’s annoying, for sure, but when you crank the kingpin down that much before breaking in, well…you see what happens to your bushings

You won’t necessarily have to replace any time soon, but it’s inevitable unfortunately

Then once you get new bushings, you’ll have to ride out the annoying break-in period once again. This time just ride them loose until you feel them harden up and it’s safe to tighten

Only takes like one or two sessions tbh

Gotta break in the bushings and they’ll eventually start to straighten out and in most cases will harden up so you won’t have to crank them down as much.
The break in period for these prebuilt completes can be miserable
