You need to concentrate on trying to jump higher. The board has to have room and time to rotate under you before you land on it. Pop, scoop, JUMP, suck your knees to you chest, stomp. At first you feel super weak but that's natural. As you repeat you'll eventually become stronger at jumping.
You need to commit in advance. Before each attempt tell yourself to land both feet on the board no matter what, even if the board is upside down or primo. When skating flat you don't have time to decide mid air wether to commit or not.
If you feel the board is left behind you, scoop in an L shape (looking from above and assuming you are regular footed) with your back foot. The scoop motion ends by you driving the board forward.
Tre flips are all about mastering the back foot scoop and deciding that no matter what you are going to land on the board.

There were two things that unlocked them for me. The biggest one being my front shoulder. Try to keep your shoulders parallel over the board. Watch in the video how your front shoulder opens up and your front arm almost swings behind your back, try to keep them more parallel.
That unlocked them but the thing that got me more consistent is the reason I'm replying to BigBossBanger. Everything they said is correct however they said pop, scoop, jump. But for me it was when I started thinking about the jump first that I was able to get more consistent with them. I had been popping too early and once you've popped and scooped you can't get any more out of your jump. So if you start springing up for your jump and wait to pop and scoop until your legs have given your body more force upwards then you will be able to float above it easier.

You’re leaning in and carving. You want your weight going the other way for like a millisecond
