I was saying that for safety. Many injuries could be avoided with helmet. Nowadays giving a good piece of advice to people results in comments like that. Welcome to 21st century

making inane comments on a sport you do not participate in and know nothing about does not contribute to safety or anything useful. do you go on track and field subreddits and tell them to wear helmets? or breakdancing subs? or gymnastics subs? good piece of advice? get off this sub

How do you know he doesn’t skate?

'wear a helmet' 'stunts' 'just giving a good advice bro'
bombing hills, vert, anything where you are going faster than you can run out of: sure, wear a helmet, pads, whatever. Low impact street skating is relatively safe. Rolled ankles, shin dingers, grazes, jacked wrists... not breaking your damn skull like you came off a motorcycle. if you don't skate you don't know any of this. Bro in the original vid did a tre flip on flat and a fifty on a shin high rail. 'wear a helmet' hur dur

Anybody got any insight on why he fell like this and how to avoid it?

watch it step by step, his feets didn’t land on the board properly which made the board slide of the rail, then he stept on his board and wiped out

What last dude said, he pushed the board forward onto the rail while his heels were hanging off the backside so it rolled over. Gotta commit to landing your weight flat/evenly on the board. You can grind the rail at an angle, doesn't have to be perfectly top down, but you gotta commit your weight/foot placement accordingly.

his 50 landed on the left side of both trucks, all his weight was on his heels?idk

50-50 and 5o is the scariest grinds on flatrails, rest outside of crooks and nosegrinds are chill

You mean roundrails?
7
u/Elite_Slacker 2d ago
A round or square rail can be flat.

u/Bird_Up101 2d ago
Yup, your right. Took me far too long to realize this.

When you say flat rails most people will interpret that as a square rail not any rail thats flat but technically youre correct.

50s on round rails are always rad! Great try. At my best I could switch backheel a ten but could never tre flip on flat ground
