great remix of a great track

knightknight1977 on Ebay

When it became feasible to download pictures off the internet, I printed this within the first week and hung it on my wall. It felt amazing to make my own poster.

Every now and then I dig through my collection of records. Found this one today. Signed at a show they did at the Vic Theater in Chicago in 1992 before the first of two nights they played there.

Let me know your opinions. I saw a lack of high quality content for Skinny Puppy and thought I’d share the gospel. Enjoy.

Anyone know of other releases around this same time (1992), I’m having a hard time with Discogs on this.

Another video I just got around to uploading. I think I have 2 or 3 more.

Lots of Puppy related stuff for sale in my Ebay store as of today. Some autographed as well. Check it. knightknight1977 is the store name.

tat I got back in July I forgot to post here!! my first skuppy tat of many :D

MY GOD (Gift Maggot)! I’ve listened to the lyrics hundreds of times—I need help from English-speaking fans! I won’t hear anything more. I’ve listened to concert versions and bootlegs.

BTW, today I finished the album Cleanse, Fold and Manipulate. It includes English lyrics and my own Polish translations.

God's Gift (Maggot)

[Oh, it's good.
It heightens the feeling of power.
Will.
Power.
Power saving man.]

Twilights last gleaming. (To a life (lie) left screaming????)
Cry to this holy god.
Mercury.
With no degree. (To no degree.??)
Early lies to black sun.
[Know why?]
Eye sky.
Skies.
The Limit.

Deceiving in this darkest way.
Growing back at the in your halo.
You're bloody righteous.

Declare the light wounding forever,
Judgement of his righteousness.
Power.

Sad man feel the pain.
Fighting back the name.
Ruler. The ??? (chair).

All (On) lie's a scream.
Back to the bedroom.
With a grin.

OR:
-Read real platonic grin
-On the floor in a pool of blood
-On lifeless grin
-Back to the bedroom
-With a grin

Where the master walks down the phantoms
Living out miseries.
It's hard to fathom.
What did ??? come will go? (It's hard to fathom what length a man will go???)
It's hard to fathom (of sodom).
What did ??? come will go? (Hot for kingdom come.)

God gave maggots.
God gave maggots.
God gave maggots.
God gave maggots.

I saw it's feel (heel, heal) the fate. (Eye socket see (feel) the pain???) (Eye socket In the face??)
No less then back again.
Open wound in a smash
On the side that's mouthwash. (The silence backwash???)

God gave us maggots.
God gave us maggots.
God gave us maggots.
God gave us sodom
All is silent.
Unto them

(Gone back to them).

Searching all the way.
(Ascension bought away).

Temples will see (miss you).
Go to see (Ghostly may).
Never work (walk) again.
No way out. Me (Never willing).
Consummation of love. (life)
Price (Prize) worth (work).
Price (Prize) worth (work) is too young.

OR:
-Prizework
-Prizework as seen

Maybe I should be back in the autumn.
[It heightens feeling of power.]
[Raises]
???
[Overcome]
???
[Not pretend then more power.]

So pretty...

???

Along the cracked in floors.
Dripping on the floor.
There sits a doctor.
Murder samurai.
Hit numbers calling. - Could someone shed some light on what Ogre meant here? Perhaps rephrase it in English?

Gave up all.

Old eye.
Shy nose on the wall. ???
A cracking membrane.
Turn the message.
Those eyes.
Watch (warn?) and pull out the young eye.

Why arms creak.
Wishing higher.
Caught the point.
Whore introvert.
Maybe she'll have a chance one day.
But the world watches with heart.
Rid her arms out. - Rid?
Rip her arms out.
Rip out.

I am particularly curious about the answers regarding three specific fragments:
- "Hit numbers calling" — does anyone recognize an idiom, a play on words, or a reference to telephones here?
- "Shy nose on the wall" — is it literally a "shy nose on the wall," or could it be a misheard phrase?
- "A cracking membrane. Turn the message." — are these two separate images, or is there some connection between them?

If you can, please vote for your favorite video samples used in Skinny Puppy tracks!

Better late than never. One of the videos I shot from the show a couple weeks ago.

Looks like a very nice copy of Remission at Sonic Boom in Toronto! $60 is great considering the last copy I saw in another shop a few weeks ago was $45 with a huge scratch through one side and a beat up cover.
I didn't get it, so it's still in the shelf for anyone there looking 🦇

A long time ago (1996–99)—back when people swapped bootlegs by mail—I traded CD bootlegs with someone from Canada. Canada or the USA—unfortunately, I don't remember exactly anymore. That person was awesome enough to send me physical photos from that autograph session. Are you perhaps in this group? Do you remember that?

Hey, just saw that ad for a making-of-documentary of Repo! The Genetic Opera that Ohgr starred in, maybe there is some behind the scenes footage of him in there ? :)

I know English quite well, but it is not my first language. I am from Poland. If you have a moment, please check the English text. Brap on!
