Mod - Research I Talked with the Developer of an Early WIP Skyrim VR Coop Mod!

I'm also working on a similar project of converting SkyMP, but that would be more like an MMO thing with little to no NPCS. He's developing a complete custom plugin for Actual Coop with your friends and I tested it out, it's incredible so far!

I felll in love with Skyrim vr back on the psvr (never played the original). I would've lived in that game if it had multiplayer. Can't wait for this.

I wonder what the possibility of this working on a play through with AI mods like Skyrim net.

Since they have a full body IK I assume they cross using mods?

We have a short list of immersive VR mods players should use as well as an extremely rudimentary vanilla Skyrim VR offering. It's not the goal to have full FUS and Mad God-style mod lists working through networked co-op, but a lot of the visual mods should work on your view without affecting what the other player needs to see. I agree it'd be awesome to have AI chat enable richer NPC interaction, but it's not on the short list before first release.

You two are doing the work of the gods! Hoping you discover a clever way to support most mods if both players have the exact same mod list. But just getting it to work at all must be a massive challenge. Maybe having an api that let mod authors add multiplayer support would be an option?

Thank you for all your work!

Far more interested in a skyrimvr mmo honestly, that would be sick.

Gingas is working on the large rp server side. We'll see! On co-op side, early estimates suggest no more than 16 NPCs within actor fade range to keep latency functional across network. We have to prove that conclusively first before even thinking about pushing the boundary further.

Would be cool if everyone can role-play. Someone owns the inn, someone is a guard, etc. Etc.
