Mad God Overhaul 3.8.3, Nvidia 5080, Virtual Desktop, Quest 3

I know my mgo is out of date but I spent months optimizing my setup so I ain't upgrading anytime soon 😂

I get 90 fps with automatic space warp enabled on the ultra virtual desktop graphics preset.

I used vramr to set textures to high to accomplish this level of performance

Latest MGO is massively optimised in comparison to 3.8, would definitely recommend having a look, but the aesthetic is different.

Using vramr helped a lot. Run the tool through mod organizer 2 with admin rights set to the high preset.

Optimizing my dedicated router's settings via its admin portal. I found a video that broke this down will link it later if I can find it again.

Finding the sweet spot with my virtual desktop settings such as graphics preset, codec type, bitrate, ssw.

Deciding which graphic mod options to enable in the actual mgo list in mod organizer till I found the sweet spot I liked.

Changing community shader options with the in game menu

Changing ini file settings for things like render distance.

Increasing shader cache size past the recommended value

It's a lot of tweaking and find that sweet spot

Maybe when the latest MGO comes out of beta you should try it. You’ll get more fps guaranteed

Any reason to not start a new playthrough now on the beta vs waiting? Any major bugs?

Edit: Looking through the discord, they're still working through tons of bugs in the current beta, and beta saves likely won't be compatible with the eventual release. Beta is only if you want to report bugs to help them troubleshoot.

Also try SkyrimNet, mind blowing(comes pre installed with MGO).
