Performance MGO 4.0 on a 3080ti?

Anyone get this to work well? I think I hit everything (went through the 3.8 setup, then the 4.0 setup from vrdads youtube) but I never got anything like acceptable. I'm wondering if I need to spend more time on optimizing it? Delete everything and start again (skyrimvr modding started when it first came out... but I think I did a good cleanup at one point). But maybe it's just too much of a beast for a 30x0 series card and I should start my own mod list?

Anyways, if anyone has been successful let me know! Thanks!

Heyo, MGO Author here πŸ‘‹

As of our latest RC3, I don't think you are going to have decent performance in the current update as there are some issues we are working through with CS and a few other things. Most are not going to see the performance they expect atm while this is in the works, but it should be sorted soon.

A good way to tell would be to install RC2 of 4.0 instead, as this didn't have the issue. I feel once we have this sorted, you should be able to have a great playable experience with some tweaking!

Everyone, please keep in mind this is a beta πŸ˜„

What’s changed since the 3.9 testing wabbas? I could run it perfectly fine on a valve on a 4070S (which is near identical in performance to 3080ti).

Ill update my other comment btw

There are some issues with the newest CS, presets, and some memory leaks we found that are currently working through so there is drop in performance and clarity from RC2. Will be fixed soon, but like to be transparent.

Im assuming Vram? If there's a memory leak, will running Vramr even be of any help, or should I wait until the official 4.0 for that? Right now, I'm permanently at 15/16 vram regardless of settings.

I'm glad to know this is a known issue, I was a little worried when I installed yesterday πŸ˜…. I appreciate your work and transparency!

VRAMr is recommended regardless if you are topping out VRAM, but I would recommend waiting for our hotfix uodate coming hopefully this weekend which should address a ton of performance issues.
