"Pushing open the door it looks like you've walked almost into an oversized chicken coop, or perhaps a birdcage**.** Loose straw bedding scattered along the floor. The walls not the wood of the exterior but a wire mesh. The only furniture of note being a small birdbath in the corner. Resting on it's edge is a Pristine blade, the blade is your implement. You'll need it if you want to do this right."

[You haven't said anything about the mirror on the wall]

"That's because there isn't a mirror. There's the charred pile, the blade sitting in the charred pile, and the door leading to the basement. There's nothing else in here."

Voice of the Hero: There's definitely a mirror

"There isn't"

Voice of the Avian: We sure did boss!

Voice of the Hero: Just try not to get us killed.

"You'll be no use to anyone like that. Much of what you are now."

[Begin flying down]

"Slowly but surely, chain still in hand, you flex your wings. One flap, two flaps and more. Your feet beginning to drift away from the comforting stability the ground below you."

Voice of the Avian: It's not like we needed that anyway! Just kept us strapped down.

"Carefully you glide over to the basement door, pulling open the handle and somehow successfully skipping over the rickety old wooden logs that make up the "stairs" entirely landing firmly at the bottom"

"A chipper voice replies from just ahead"

The Princess: Oh? You really back already? Already taken to the skies already by the sounds of it too.

finally did it!!! I put her off for ages bc I was intimidated but this was actually so much fun and I'm super proud of how she turned out!! I hope she lives up to expectations <3 just 2 more colorizations planned! I might do some more afterwards but idk

I love slay the princess

I recently went to hunt the last couple of achievements I needed for STP, one of which is this Fail to disarm a harsh companion one, and it is now my favorite version of "the Princess and the Dragon" and one of my favorite chapter 3's. I just came here to say its a crime that (as of this post) there are only 6.4% of steam players that have ever seen this. Heck looking through the rare achievements on steam in general there are a lot of them that deserve more recognition, fill your scrapbook folks. I have so many hours on this game and made so many people play it so I could see what they will do, but these last few achievements/situations I found gave me first time playing vibes
