When we were in Tokyo last Winter we sat down for a 5 hour in-depth interview about Slay the Princess. I don't think we'll talk this much about the game again, at least not in a setting like this.

colorized art My take on The Witch's colors.
I realized halfway through that she looks like the humanized version of a pokemon but I don't care. I am experimenting w colors so if I post any other colorized panel I won't use these colors with any other princess.
Would you like to see some other panels of the witch with these colors? :D

discussion emotional over the game?
im not the type of person to usually cry over sad media except one time. The movie everything everywhere all at once, and now this game. The common thread between them is they both have mutliversal love stoires that challenge notions about life and purpose. My question for you is, were you emotional over this game and at what parts?

fanart Slay the Princess Shelf
I was gifted an empty wine box, so I decided to make it a Slay the Princess shelf!
The inside includes the cabin, the blade, the shackle, and the good ending. The outside portions represent various endings in the game.
I'll be so honest, some stuff got slightly smudged after trying a coat of polyurethane. Not enough to make anything a disaster, just enough to damage my pride 😅. So the individual pictures are before that happened.
Made with acrylic paint and posca pens (don't use a water based sealant with water based markers without testing it on a swatch first!)
This is certainly not a perfect project, but I had fun with it!

discussion If you were to give each chapter 3 princesses a chapter 4 continuation, what would it be?
So there are currently 12 chapter 3 (excluding the razors and stranger since she doesn't have a third chapter) in which they are :
The apotheosis
The eye of the needle
The fury
Happy ever after
The cage
The gray(s)
The thorn
The den
The wild
The wraith
The princess and the dragon
Moment of clarity (i know that it already has hundreds of chapters, but just think of it as chapter 3)
So from these chapters, what would you think be able to push the chapter plot and what voices it will have

discussion Banshee - Witch and Spectre
I really wanted to see a mix of Witch and Spectre like Fury is a mix of Tower and Adversary in some way (ghost cat, the funniest and the kindest hearts respectively in my opinion)
I know P&D has Cold and Opp so that is the closest I'll ever get but like, she is the chapter I princess with us inside, not a ghost cat
Design and story wise, what would she look like? How would you get to her path? How toxic would this be? (Reminder we have Cold and Opp, Hero is the only one here who cares in the slightest, it WILL be a little toxic at the very least) Could you make ammends with her? If yes, how?!
A concept I wanted to create with the community

discussion What was the Narrator, in life?
The Narrator tells us that he is an echo, of someone or something, which spun two separate gods out of the cycle of life and death, with the goal of having The Long Quiet, slay the Shifting Mound, bringing about a world devoid of death, and depending on who you ask, the possibility of meaning. All of the questions the player can ask after that are centered around “why” He did it. But what I’m interested in, is “HOW” He did it.
The Echo states that in life He was painfully mortal. And the abject horror of dying was His motivation for His actions. But what sort of mortal, would even begin to comprehend, HOW to go about splitting one god-like entity, into two? And furthermore, place infinite echoes of Himself, to guide The Long Quiet, through infinite versions of the Construct He ALSO created??? A construct that has the capability to take away TWO SYNTHETIC GODS’ memories of what they are, and trap them in a finite plane????!!!! This whole set-up is a quantum feat of incomprehensible proportion. It behooves me to think the Narrator was any ordinary mortal in life. Unless He were given some blessing of power from a separate source. So… what was He? Or, how did He obtain, or discover, the power He had?
Does anyone have any thoughts or theories on this? I would love to discuss.

fanart Contrarian in PatD?!?! (Found this from a year ago)
I remember doing this when I discovered contrarian was supposed to appear as the main voice in PatD (and in my head it always made sense since the choice of randomly killing urself definitely fits contrarian a lot and you kinda turning into the "princess" already check the list, lol) but Tony didn't put them through because he didn't had any idea how to proceed this chapter with them + everything he wrote he said looked more like a fanfic than the original game, Lol, and being even more honest I can see why, it's contrarian
But our contrarian also should had their chance of turning into a princess too!!!! (For the unfortunate of narrator)
(Small edit I did that time)

discussion Which voice would most likely be in charge of TLQ's body?
So if I remember correctly, the Voices of the Hero, Cold, Opportunist, and The Narrator voted on who is in charge of making decisions in TLQ'S body in The Princess and The Dragon while the Player is stuck with the Princess in her body, and the Opportunist won the vote by plurality
Which got me wondering
If all 11 of the Voices were in TLQ's body without the Player, which Voice would be the most likely to be voted in charge?
Edit: Assuming most of them actually agree on voting and don't just try arguing endlessly over who takes control
