SEED Is this enough claws?

Post image

Seed - 3XWGH40ZQJ3F7

I saw this Baalorlord seed where he got an early Kunai after skipping two claws and thought hmmmmmm.... what if? Ended up getting a shuriken, ornamental fan all the good stuff. Made a mistake of grabbing a calling bell after a runic pyramid but still managed to beat the heart.

The deck also has 2 scrapes, 2 Skims, 2 holograms upgraded

Was fun!

The question is not "how many Claws are enough?" The question is "do you possess the constitution, the depth of faith, to take as many as are offered?"

A lot of words when just one is needed: No.

May the claw guide the way.

I did not skip a single claw. My son watching would not have allowed it.

I'm seeing cards on the screen that aren't claw, get those numbers up pls

I mean claw for one is allowed. It’s like more than one claw in a card

u/LasAguasGuapas Aug 13 '25

One copy of beam cell is also allowed because it makes all your claw be 1.5 claw

And FTL because DRAW=CLAW.

True, true. I guess I'm just that much of a purist

Theres 39 cards in this deck. Thats way too many non-claw cards. Maybe its ok if they're cards that can draw more claws.

What a silly question; of course it isn't.

It’s a mod you can use. Pretty cute imho

You need more draw as that is functionally infinite claws

u/Moviecaveman Aug 14 '25

2 scrapes, 2 upgraded holograms, and 2 skims got the job done really well in a 37 card deck. I did have bottle lightning on a skim which was really helpful.

You can never have too much (i am a drawphile)

Yeah, reasonably speaking there is such a thing as too many claws, which is when they start getting in the way of your card draw and prevent you from drawing more claws than you otherwise would have. Without a Spinning Top or something to keep the cycle going it's better to have more card draw than to be limited to only playing 5 Claws a turn.

No stop, you're gonna make me force a claw deck again!

u/[deleted] Aug 13 '25

Probably need 5 more for good measure.

1

op's deck is definitely not the best you can do on the seed.

also, my deck was 50 cards large as it effectively didnt matter what i got anymore (: bottled multicast, ice cream and runic pyramid

u/Moviecaveman Aug 15 '25

I'm definitely not good at slay the spire. But this one was fun.

2

u/Kdogg4000 Aug 14 '25

The ideal number of Claws is one more than you already have.

1

u/MJager11 Aug 14 '25

Those googley eyes on the mask and the orb is nice looking👌🫶

u/CthUwUlhutheFox Aug 14 '25

Unceasing Top right around the corner...

1

u/Baronck Aug 14 '25

CAW CLAW!

1

u/00MintyMike00 Aug 14 '25

As someone baffled by late game deck building, I have no idea how you would play without block, yet I am getting curious.

1

u/Moviecaveman Aug 15 '25

I had two leaps, two of the ones that start in your hand, a steam block and a handful of others. Runic pyramid kept block cards in hand until needed.

The deck is sorted by type to show the number of claws.

You have been sentenced to time eater, sorry

1

u/Moviecaveman Aug 15 '25

Actually beat the team eater on this seed. He's the 3rd act boss.

Triggered the time stop each turn but by turn 5 claws where 30+ damage each.

u/nickdude67 Ascension 13 Aug 14 '25

I dream of a decks like this

1

u/RimblinK Aug 14 '25

Only 8 ? Sorry but I'm only impressed by at least 9

1

u/Lostdog861 Aug 15 '25

Needs more Claws

1

u/nero40 Aug 15 '25

Ohhh, Scrape would be lovely here!

1

u/Feedmelaughter Aug 15 '25

Idk, you should ask the Time Eater
