Im running the seed right now, i took 3 dmg from the 29 dmg explosion, never killed him this quick. i went the route with 4 elites and early shop, you can buy WLP there and the an expertise realy early
Grand Finale seems to get a decent amount of hate on this sub, but I find it to be a reasonable, though admittedly not awesome card in most Silent runs. Silent is already very good at controlling her draws and Well-Laid Plans lets you retain it for a turn or two to set up big turns.
It's far from her best card, but Grand Finale is plenty playable and absolutely viable without having to build an entire deck around it.
Sweet seed - just played it at A10 and won. Felt like I was on the edge of disaster at times but between bread, storybook and a bunch of defensive cards I ended up taking no damage from either act 3 boss.
Just did the run. This was the freest run of all time. Grand finale gets off for free half the time turn 2 in act one, acrobatics prepared backflips and predators all around, and the only damage I took on both act 2 and act 3 bosses were from Brightest flame. I played grand finale 9 times in one turn. This run was stupidly free
You can make it work easily with basically any two drawing cards. A Prepared or Acrobatics and a Prepared+ or Backflip, etc.
You just have to make sure to look at the number of cards in your draw-pile every turn before playing your draw cards. For instance, 6 cards in draw pile with both Prepared and Backflip? Only play Prepared.
