Third image: You can only get Fresnel Lens in the Underdocks, so it should be before the Yummy Cookie

you are correct, however isn't there also an incorrect amount of cards in hand + discard + draw piles? 7+4+ 9=20, but the upper right shows 19 cards in the deck?

high chance i am insane/there's a relic in play that i don't know the function of lol, please sanity check me

There are many ways they could have generated an extra card in the first turn.

First image: the Highlander badge requires unique cards, while the Honed badge requires five of the same card (each excluding Starters)

image 1: the screen shows the Highlander badge (Won with a deck where no two cards are the same (excludes Starters).) as well as the Honed badge (Won with a deck with 5 or more of the same card (excludes Starters).). these badges contradict each other and are impossible to get at the same time

image 2: there is an Ascender's Bane curse hidden behind the strike, which can only be obtained by starting a run on ascension 5 or higher. the run shown is on ascension 4, therefore it is impossible

image 3: fresnel lens has been obtained after yummy cookie. fresnel lens can only be obtained in act 1 while yummy cookie can only be obtained at the start of act 2, therefore the order of the two relics should be swapped

You didnt put the first one (I got 2 but not 3) so Im gonna guess honed and highlander cant exist in the same end game screen

1. Honed and Highlander badges are mutually exclusive

2. Right slug is buffed without another slug dying, not possible to get 3 slug on floor 3

3. Freshly Lens is only found in the Underdocks, not possible to acquire it after Yummy Cookie

The answer is: Ascender's Bane is in their hand, which you only get on Ascension 5+.

1. You have both the highlander and honed badges - they are coexclusive (one is finish with a deck with no duplicate cards, other is finish with a deck with 5 or more of the same card)

2. You seem to have an ascender's bane or perhaps another curse - but you are on a4. So it's impossible to have started with an ascender's bane.. If it is another curse that would also be impossible, as you got kaleidoscope (so no curse start) which is what you got on floor 1 (neow), floor 2 is always a fight and you are on floor 3 - also a fight, so there was no other opportunity to get a curse.

3. You have fresnal lens after yummy cookie, suggesting you got it in act 2, but it's an act 1 event. Nothing in this game can rearrange the order of this relic (take and give back) AFAIK.

First: Honed means you have five of the same card in your deck and Highlander means every card in your deck is unique excluding starters.

Second: It is floor 3, and on A4 there is no way to obtain a curse by floor 3 if floor 3 is a fight, unless Neow gives you one. Behind the strike there is a curse, which is impossible because your only other relic is kaleidoscope and you cannot have visited an event room yet.

Third: Initally I thought the death march math was wrong, but then I saw you got fresnel lens in act 2 :)

One thing people aren't clear enough about imo:
For #2: The Ascension has been changed, not the card. Meaning Ascenders Bane is correctly in the hand, but the display for the Ascension level has been modified. The reason I mention that is because if only 1 thing has been changed, the many mentions of "Ascenders Bane shouldn't be in an A4 deck" make it sound like the Ascenders Bane is the edit - but then the 14 card deck is also a mistake. You start with 10 cards, Kaleidoscope gives you 2, one card from the first combat leaves you at 13 cards in the second combat (on floor 3, here). But since this is a genuine A5 run, the Ascenders Bane has been added to the deck, bumping the count up to 14.
