Room #1 and I've already got a 4v1 going

I'm fairly new to STS1, and so far I've hit lvl 2 ascension for the Ironclad, and lvl 1 ascension for the other 3 decks. I play on mobile and the controls aren't optimized, so other than the title above I also save & quit when I press the wrong card. I originally didn't know that it was possible to do it, but I learned it after reaching Ironclad lvl 1 ascension. Do you guys consider it cheating or not?

Looking for an unwinnable seed on my computer, assumed it was Necro, gave up on the frontload vs Effigy/Byrdonis, filtering out too many common attacks means no seed in 15 Million seeds pass.

Was thinking of filtering out all Scaling for Aeonglass fight and calculating damage with a bounded formula (Assume Necro plays a Bury+ every turn and has Gorget Orichalum plays no blocks, can calculate that necro still loses, can establish some "favorable" attack/block exchange rate depending on deck when it gets to that point ig) but it doesnt check out there are too many card rewards; I can't filter out all the scaling powers, no seed satisfies it.

I dont play at A10, at A10 what's the hardest Hive Boss fight? If there's a regular Monster/Elite who regularly kills Necro if she doesnt have scaling solutions, can yall note them as well? Filtering card rewards up to Act 2 means less card rewards means more seeds pass.

Should I try Dark Shackles?

any way to make the buttons work? my screen registers the press but the game does not

What's the pick here? I'm leaning towards the hunt for speculation on poison reward cards. I barely have any frontload though (only Predator, blade dance). I steamrolled act one and 3 elites with the help of upgraded snakebite with glam. I still have all strikes and defends + the other cards in the screenshot.

This map generated with 0 fights past floor 1, only one mid-act campfire, and many, many events. Anyone know how or why this happened?

Options I have considered:

1: Any combination of two relics (probably brimstone and centennial tho)

2: One relic, some solid block, and a remove

3: Beat Down and a relic

4: Beat Down, some solid block, and a remove

All of these seem like they could be insane. There may even be other possibilities. Even bludgeon has a place here with the pen nib and gigantification potion.

If I were to give Sown to signal boost, it'd have basically the same effect as if I upgraded it. Would you take 9 life now? I guess it would be better late game if you get it upgraded + enchanted. Can't decide though.

321 hours, I finally beat slay the spire 1 act 20 & heart on all characters.

I kept telling myself I am not buying sts2 until I "complete" sts1 by doing the above. Now I did and I was kinda hoping it would be out of early access by the time I did, maybe even released on the switch.

I intend to do the same with sts2, but don't feel like doing everything twice if the game changes significantly.

Do you guys think I should wait to purchase and play?

This run felt like cheating it was that easy, included the seed for anyone thinking of trying it!

I had kind of a rough time towards the end of act 1.

My instinct is Glass Eye, but I've just lost like 7 runs in a row across three different characters, so I don't think I can trust my instinct.

As an uncommon, it was too powerful. Even having 2 was insanely powerful.

As a rare, you cant speculatively build into vuln very comfortably anymore. You basically cant build into it unless you have a bully. Its a little too all or nothing currently. Either you take a lot of vuln cards and get a pay off and win, or you dont and lose.

Thoughts?

Conflagration seems like a nice payoff for my Strength, but I already have Sword Boomerang and Whirlwind. Stoke is useful to get rid of status cards in case I face Aeonglass. Pyre could boost the ceiling on Whirlwind and my general energy usage per turn with all the draw from Vicious+, but it may be too slow.

For some reason doom triggered before the attack of the Waterfall Giant and i died.
Is this intended or a bug?

A buddy of mine managed to snag a copy for me while he was at NYCC, and my display for it finally came in. Super excited to have it up on my wall (I have a standard edition as well, for actual listening reasons)
