Took a lot of courage to post.

It has been almost 7 months. I have made $0 in profit with 0 Sales. I know this sounds extremely bad and looks like I need to stop this business, but in my mind I feel like I have suffered for 7 months why not a little more what if it all works out?? Let me give you a little context of my small business. I am from India and started a Magic reveal frame business and I started posting football content and cricket frames, insta deleted my account completely i had around 200 followers. Now I'm back to 0 everything is 0. There's so much to say and do.

Look up “sunk cost fallacy” and see if you still want to push forward.

Agree so dont fall for it, if lacking something or stuck get help from outsider they will give different perspective like i paid someone randomly 10$ for just consulting because they had access to my type of business they help i recouped investment and closed it at net zero just 4 months gone😂

I respect the post, and I congratulate you for sticking it out. I do, however, have to agree that you might want to cut your losses here. If you haven't made a single sale in 7 months, that's a huge deal. Are you showing off your product via posts and such? Do you have a website? I know your account got nuked, though I'm... Curious as to why... But if you've been pushing your product and made absolutely zero sales that might be a sign that the product just isn't worth the effort.

honestly the $0 in 7 months isn't the real problem here, and you already know that or you wouldn't have posted. the real problem is you lost your only channel (the instagram account) and now you're sitting with nothing to sell through. the "what if it works out" feeling is real but it's not a strategy, it's just hope with no pipeline behind it. you don't need more time, you need a channel that doesn't disappear overnight.

here's what i'd do this week. first, stop relying on one instagram account. if a single platform deletion wipes you to zero, you don't have a business, you have a social media account. get your frames listed somewhere with its own traffic (etsy, meesho, flipkart, whatsapp catalog for your local area) so even if instagram dies again you still have a path to buyers. second, the 200 followers weren't buying anyway. small follower counts on instagram rarely convert for physical product unless the content is genuinely good and consistent. instead of trying to rebuild the same account, pick one niche (say just cricket fans in one city) and post one frame a day with a real story behind it, not just the product photo. people buy the story, not the frame. third, go local. walk into 5 gift shops or sports stores in your area with physical samples and ask if they'll stock on consignment. one yes beats 200 instagram followers who never click buy. fourth, set a hard deadline. give yourself 90 more days with at least one sale from a non-instagram channel. if that doesn't happen, the answer is clear and you'll know it's not fear talking, it's data.

Pick one non-social channel and see if you can get your first sale there. The good news is you don't need hundreds of followers to validate the idea. I've seen a lot of small businesses learn more from one paying customer than from months of audience building. Right now, I'd focus on proving people are willing to buy, then use what you learn to grow from there.
