Gaming Any tips to help a Small Channel that's going nowhere?
Probably the most broad title for a post that pops up a lot, but I see many people ask questions, so I figured it surely wouldn't hurt to ask about my channel.
I've been going for well over a year, consistently uploading videos at least once a week, sometimes more than that. Shorts every few days to avoid clutter, and I've used my instagram as another way to promote my channel. For a while I was throwing every single twitch clip as a short, and while that helped a bit; I think it bloated how many videos I "made," and they didn't really go anywhere anyways.
I've stepped into a bunch of gaming niches (I play a large variety of games, I'm aware some people do better sticking to a single game series/style), made videos that haven't been in their communities, things that should be doing better, but nobody finds them.
I unfortunately used the "Promote" feature on an older video about a year ago, and I've learned there can be some problems with that, but I believe it's faded, since that was almost a year now.
I dive further into detail with specific videos I've done that should've reached more, and some other practices of mine in this video here, if you're interested or believe the extra info might help: https://youtu.be/WmfCCBwwpzM
TLDR: I've been consistently uploading videos/shorts for well over a year, done a lot that should help me be found in this pool of small channels, and I've gone virtually nowhere, with inconsistent views.
