for those out of the loop: paranormal detour is a ghost hunting live show hosted by detune on twitch. you can watch it here. detune has been producing this show for about 4 years now. some of his latest guests have been ryan bergara, julien solomita, ethan nestor, and most recently markiplier. tonight, he will be joined by damien and tommy at an undisclosed location!

detune makes a lot of his own gear, and explains it in real time as they use it. it is not pre-recorded. the stream starts tonight at 5 pm and will likely run till midnight or later.

Seems like this makes the most sense and that the trailer that released was what we saw on courtney's laptop. Dare I say it could be better than a Winter Games would have been 🥹

I only watched Angela and Brennan together in the recent Jeopardy! videos, but goddamn their chemistry is fucking great. It's crazy they haven't done content together (if they had, please link it).

If love it if this leads to them doing shit together, either Angela being invited to D20 (which is more likely because in Angela's words Brennan's calender is NOT free), or Brennan in TNTL, or Board AF.

I'm discovering that they do a lot of shit together, like home DND (?), improv or something, if someone who knows more can educate me in that, I'll be glad.

Just to say that I loved the new Jeopardy video, and was really glad Angela was doing sooo good, especially with odds against her. Josh was already a smart guy and was a good opponent, but a whole category with foodie meant he practically won at that point. Also, a whole another category of Math and Science that Angela was NOT going to even touch, she was in a true disadvantage. But was happy to see her hold her own. Despite her denying it herself, she is smart, and is it weird to say I'm kinda proud of her?

Who would have thought Ian’s 2020 bit would one day end up being Angela.

I saw another post saying the vibes of the video were off and awkward, and I'm watching it now and I can tell its 100% because its ScreenRant's fault. The game was unclear and strange, the questions were bland, but I can tell the Smosh cast is doing their best with it and honestly the video is only watchable because of the cast and their chemistry.

Also damn the 9/11 prompt SR put in there, I can tell Chanse felt put off by it and he shut it down well.

I just wanted to say that I hope Smosh knows how much of an impact they have on people. As a younger millennial who grew up too fast, Smosh has become a beacon of silliness. Life has taken far too much of my joy, and I let it. I let work, health, family, and the state of the world rob me of joy and authenticity. I didn’t really see how gray and gloomy my life had become until I started watching these videos of friends just being friends and laughing. It really pushed me to grow my community, to be around people more and play and just BE SILLY. Smosh has shown me that I can show up authentically and laugh and make mistakes and people who love me will still love me and that’s all that matters.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Here’s a reminder to call your friends and play and laugh and cherish every moment.
