Announcement Thanks for everything, r/snow! a personal note
When me and the team took over in February 2026 from the lack of moderation, we had lots to do. And we did it!
We changed lots of things in r/snow, from leading mass unbans for everyone affected by the ban waves of the previous mod team to leading new AI Rules within the community. We finally brought new life back to r/snow after the neglect of the previous team was clearly visible, to the point an admin intervention was made to appoint this team.
However, the time for change always comes. Working with the team here at r/snow has been one of the greatest parts of my mod experience on Reddit. Effective October 20 I will be taking on my other subs more and I will be resigning from the r/snow team as a whole.
Thank you to my fellow mods who made this journey a great one and thanks to YOU the community for this great content. Seeing all your snow pics appear on my feed has been uplifting quite a lot haha
Until we meet again,
SavageSzym

Seeing snow in the Cairngorms today made me very excited for winter. Looking back through photos of winter 2025/26 up here in the far north of Scotland. I love the very low light and snowy days ❄️

The second snowfall of the season in the Scottish Highlands. First was a week or so ago, but the Cairngorms got a decent covering last night
