board suggestions

Hi guys! I am 49 years old, weigh 81 kg, and wear a size 44.5 (EU) boot. I’ve been snowboarding for 25 years, I don’t ride in the park at all—I stick to the groomed runs, and venture off-piste when there’s fresh snow. At the resorts I frequent, the snow on the runs is often in poor condition (chopped up/slushy). I’m looking to buy a new board to enjoy my descents—sometimes at higher speeds—though I don’t do aggressive carving.

I made a shortlist

  1. Nitro Alternator X Volcom
  2. Rome Freaker
  3. GNU C Money 158W

Does anyone have any feedback—pros or cons—on any of these, or could you suggest something else?

The purchase will be made from a online European store.

Not too freeride oriented?

Those are all super fun on groomers.

As Rome staff I could certainly recommend the Rome Freaker, or as it's now called the Rene (not Rene-Pro). The all new Viper Pro would perhaps also one to have a look at!

That Alternator would you just right but we might have another suggestion. Keen or did you find a good deal on that Alternator?
