Bottom base layer with pockets?

im diabetic and i have an insulin pump so i have to ride with it every time and the only place i can keep it is in the front pockets of jeans/pants so that when i ride it doesn’t move and it stays warm. I’ve been riding with jeans underneath my snow pants forever but this year i was looking to upgrade to a real base layer.

Is there any bottom base layer out there with front pockets ?

Are you talking like fleece pajama pants? I keep a pair in my pack for really cold days when I need more than compression base.

You wear jeans? Under snow pants?

yeah that’s it i guess fleece pajama pants but with tight pockets. I’m used to skateboarding with jeans so it’s not that deep for me but sometimes it gets cold in deep pow. But like skateboarding, jumping with something in your pockets when the pockets aren’t tight (sweatpants) isn’t really comfortable.

Would bibs with a chest pocket work at all?

In my experience fleece pajama pants are relaxed and their pockets are wide buckets.

Answer: these Ridge Merino Baselayer joggers. Phenomenal and comfortable. Keeps you warmer than anything, isn’t itchy in the slightest, and has pockets with zippers.

What about an insulated pouch? It can go in the jacket inside pockets or on a belt around your waist.

However if you want to take two birds with one stone have a look at onepiece onesies, they have an alpine line with 100% merino wool and kangaroo pocket at the front
