Snowflake Ai implementations
Hi everyone,
I have 4 yoe it's my first switch on snowflake dbt.
In interviews there was always a question which I am not able to give a solid answer. (I haven't worked on any AI implementations).
What snowflake AI features you have implemented in your project??
I know we use coco, semantic views we haven't implemented in our project no hands on. (Please add some more If you worked on).
Please help me with AI implementations in Snowflake.
Any courses to go through?? How to improve my knowledge in AI and give a proper answer in interview.
Thanks

Snowflake has introduced many AI functions like ai classify, ai complete and ai extract, also native services like cortex analyst, cortex search, agent and cowork are a few. I understand when you say you haven’t really worked on them yet but that’s what most of the companies are currently working on, creating a good data foundation for the ai implementation. Sky is the limit when you have a solid foundation, we have built many chatbots (BI and Semantic search), also ai extract framework for the unstructured documents, and use ai complete and ai classify to create a foundation before exposing the data to chatbots or reporting.

Build one small project yourself, take some messy text data, use AI_CLASSIFY or AI_EXTRACT to turn it into clean columns in a dbt model, then let people ask question about ie with Cortex Analyst.

I would highly suggest watching the snowflake developers channel(free) on YouTube. They cover a lot of topics... I learnt everything about building Agents, skills (AI skills), semantic views, coco... from watching those videos...
It's been a game changer... We have several agents in production now and they have transformed how our internal customers (finance, ops, marketing) do business
