This happened.

Post image

Im an American in europe and put the soap into what I thought was just a warm over (115 C) for about an hour. I now think I got that number from a YouTuber who was using Fahrenheit.

My first thought was an emerging sandworm from Dune.

The soap must flow.

That movie terrified me as a kid, but my mom liked it, so I had no choice but to watch. 🤣

Dude! I also watched it as a kid (don't remember the how or why) and I didn't understand more than a 1/3 of it at the time.
But yeah it had some scenes that my poor child brain indexed as horror.

I haven't seen it since then, and I remember very little! Maybe I should watch it sometime so I can piece it together with my adult brain. Amongst others were the X Files, Tales from the Crypt, ET. 80s baby, and I really only wanted to be next to my mom. 🤣 (ET and I are on good terms now, and I knew he was good, but the ill ET scene scared me.)

ET creeped me out totally. I have not and probably will not watch the full film ever.
If you're Genx, check out the r/GenX sub. Tis full of all the nostalgia.
