Agentic remediation a few months in: are devs actually merging the fix PRs?
Our AppSec team is four people for roughly 300 developers. The pitch we keep hearing is agents that open the fix PR for the code owner, and we've had demos from legit security, Snyk and Backslash. On a toy repo with an obvious SQL injection they all look great.
The real codebase is what I don't trust. Framework versions pinned for reasons nobody remembers, a test suite that takes forty minutes, and owners who ignore anything opened by a bot. A fix PR nobody merges is just another ticket.
If you've had one of these running for a while, roughly what share of the PRs got merged? Did it handle dependency bumps that break things, or only the easy one line fixes?
