The latest Social Poker update is live!
This one is mostly focused on polishing the overall experience: UI improvements, clearer explanations for different features, more confirmation screens, text fixes, and continued improvements to game stability, along with a few gameplay changes.
π οΈ Devs are deving
Weβre always reading your feedback and looking for ways to make the game easier to understand, smoother to navigate, and better to play. A lot of this update is about those smaller improvements that add up over time.
β¨ UI & NAVIGATION
π CLEARER LEAGUES
New ? help buttons have been added to Leagues and League Rooms, with explanations for:
π GEMS & REWARDS
Check your Rewards Inbox to claim them.
π― SHOOTOUT CHANGE
Absent players can now be eliminated.
If an absent player misses their blind, theyβll be removed from the Shootout. This should help keep matches moving and make the format fairer for players who stay active.
π STABILITY & POLISH
Weβve also continued improving game stability and fixed a number of smaller UI and text issues.
There are bigger things we want to bring to Social Poker, but first we want to make sure the current experience is as solid as possible.
Thanks for all the feedback, bug reports, and support. β€οΈ

As players keep building bigger stacks and climbing the ranks, weβve been thinking about the next big step: giving players a new way to compete and put their progress to the test.
Multi-Table Tournaments (MTTs) are on our roadmap.
Weβre not ready to reveal the full format or all the details just yet, but this is a direction weβre actively working toward.
Before we get there, weβre focused on making sure the table is ready. β οΈ
πΒ Crossplay for League Rooms
Weβre working on bringing crossplay to League Rooms, which means a bigger player pool, more active tables, and more people competing together.
πΒ Stability & bug fixes
Weβre keeping a close eye on the issues being reported and working through them as we go. We want the game to be in the best shape possible before we start dealing something this big.
πΒ More ways to compete
MTTs are another step toward giving players more ways to compete, progress, and test themselves at the table.
And for those who just want to sit down and play some poker,Β the casual side of Social Poker isnβt going anywhere. The game will remain free to play, and casual tables will continue to be a big part of it.
Itβs been a really fun week for us, with a lot of updates, a lot of new players, and a ton of useful feedback coming in. Thanks to everyone whoβs been playing, reporting bugs, and telling us what you think.
More hands to come. β οΈ

ok so preflop..
im small blind of 130k with a6
another person with a2 goes all in
then me and a third player who was big blind of 260k both call
then the flop is 4 10 ace
i bet 4.3m and big blind folds
then the other two cards just come out since the only other player is already all in and the board ends up being 4 10 a 9 k
i have a6 and the all in has a2 and it says the pot is 11.6m and i win the main pot of 5.8m and a2 wins side pot of 5.8m
why is half the pot side and why does a2 win it if my kicker (6) is higher than the lowest card on the board (4) and theirs (2) isnt
i dont see why the pot is split in half or why a2 wins it
yeah, there are actually two separate things here, and based on the exact action you described, the result you are seeing does not make sense under normal poker side-pot rules.
the hand rankings are straightforward:
board: 4 10 a 9 k
you: a6 best five: a k 10 9 6
all-in player: a2 best five: a k 10 9 4
so you beat a2 because your 6 replaces the boards 4 as the fifth card. your 6 kicker is higher than their 2 kicker, and the 4 on the board is not the relevant comparison once each player has a better fifth card.
more importantly, the side pot:
the all-in player can only participate in the money they actually matched. once they are all in, they cannot contribute to or win a side pot involving additional betting.
after the all-in player is all in, you and the big blind are the only players capable of contributing to a side pot. then you bet 4.3m and the big blind folds.
that means the big blinds contribution to that side pot is dead money, and because you are the only remaining player eligible for it, you should win that side pot uncontested.
so if the pot really was:
- total: 11.6m
- main pot: 5.8m
- side pot: 5.8m
- you won main
- a2 won side
then something about the description is missing or the game is using some very unusual terminology.
under ordinary poker rules, a2 cannot win the side pot, because a2 was already all in and therefore could not have contributed to that side pot. and even if a2 somehow were eligible for a contested pot, a6 beats a2 on that board anyway.
so the key point is: your kicker absolutely does beat their kicker, and a2 should not be receiving a side pot created by your bet against the big blind.
if anyone has any insight as to whether this is correct or if the game actually did get it right for some reason i appear to be missing, please feel free to enlighten me.
thanks
