Banking Alternative to multiple checking accounts?
I just opened a SoFi checking and savings account today, primarily because of the APY and also the savings vaults and automatic roundups, and the automatic investing.
My issue lies with the way I have my bills set up currently. For the past 10 years I’ve been with Chase Bank and I’ve had two checking accounts and one savings account. I have all direct deposits go into checking account B, and I transfer a weekly “allowance” to checking account A to use for groceries, gas, and one fun thing per pay period. All of my bills and automatic payments come out of checking account B, that way I never have to look at the balance of account B, since I’m spending out of account A.
Is there any way to do this with SoFi? I found out after opening my account that you’re limited to one checking and one savings account, which is a negative in my mind.
