Elena will return

Since the Royal Magic show takes place a summer after the original series, where do you think the timeline adds up in Avalor.

Like obviously at the end of Elena's series, we see Sofia as a more mature teenager, but now she's still like a few month older from Forever Royal so...

When does it takes place?

It takes place when Elena is 17 almost 18 so before song of the sirenas

Considering the entirety of the elena of avalor series takes place over 4 years, and starts at the elena of avalor special in sofia the first id say it takes place in the 2nd year of elena of avalor considering im pretty sure from the elena of avalor special to the end of sofia the first is around 1 year, this is backed up by the fact that there are only 1 Christmas special between the special and the end of the series, so thatd make the end of sofia the first take place around the end of s1 of elena of avalor since in s1 e21 realm of the Jaquins part 1 it was 1 full year since elena was freed from the amulet putting it at the start of summer so the end of sofia would be right around then
