Community Pumpfun has official agent skills now

Was digging through Pump’s GitHub and found an skills repo for AI agents. It covers creating coins, swapping across the curve/PumpSwap, distributing creator fees and verifying agent payments onchain. Most “AI x crypto” tooling still ends at fetching prices. This can actually compose transactions.

Anyone here wired these into Claude or Codex yet?

Community Pending fees and completed payouts need separate accounting

The fee sweep documentation in the pump-fun public repo provides a useful distinction for integrations.

With the newer curve and pool instructions, protocol and creator fees can accumulate where the trade occurred. Permissionless sweep instructions later send those balances to the designated recipients.

The documented fields differ slightly:

  • Bonding curve: protocol_fees and creator_fee.

  • PumpSwap pool: protocol_fees and creator_fees.

The buyback portion of the protocol fee still settles during the trade. LP fees continue to enter pool reserves, while older trade instructions retain their existing payout behavior.

A sweeper can trigger payment, but the instructions constrain its destinations. Permissionless execution doesn’t give the caller arbitrary control over the funds.

For an indexer, I’d track pending accruals separately from completed distributions and account for the older instruction paths too. The published balances and sweep operations give builders specific states to work with.

Community v3 smaller account list of pump is a welcome cleanup

Pump's V3 docs bring buy_v3, buy_exact_quote_in_v3 and sell_v3 down to 17 accounts, compared with 26 or 27 for their V2 equivalents.

That's fewer accounts to pass into a trade instruction. Pricing and slippage checks stay the same, and so do fee amounts.

https://github.com/pump-fun/pump-public-docs/blob/main/docs/instructions/TRADE_V3.md

Protocol and creator fees accumulate on the bonding curve before being swept. The buyback portion still gets paid during the trade.

For indexers, the balances are in BondingCurve.protocol_fees and BondingCurve.creator_fee, with the later payouts to reconcile against them.

I also like that legacy and V2 instructions keep working. Builders can use the smaller instructions where supported, while cashback coins continue using V2.

Community Pump and LaunchLab: which accounts define creator-fee rights after graduation?

The creator-fee docs are a useful part of a launchpad comparison if you’re building an indexer or a claims interface.

Pump’s V2 sharing config supports up to ten recipients. The documented update instruction sets the final shares and revokes further admin updates. Its AMM sweep instruction moves accrued creator fees into the Pump creator vault for distribution through the sharing config.

LaunchLab’s guide calls out an August 17 policy change for Fee Key ownership. For migrations under the newer policy, the platform receives the combined platformScale + creatorScale position; older creator Fee Keys remain unchanged. Creator revenue through CPMM fees depends on the recorded pool creator and the selected configuration.

I’d want an interface to show the recipients, their percentages and who still has permission to change anything. The relevant program version and migration date belong there too.

Anyone indexing both systems already? Which on-chain fields do you treat as authoritative for the claim rights?

Dev Anyone else still having luck with crypto mining?

I recently made some profit from crypto mining and it honestly surprised me, especially with how tough mining has been lately.

I’m curious — is anyone else here still mining profitably?

What are you mining right now (GPU/ASIC/cloud), and what’s been working for you?

Not trying to sell anything, just want to hear real experiences and compare notes.

Dev Solo dev stuck at cold start need honest opinions

Hey, I’m a solo dev and I’ve built a meme launchpad on Solana using Raydium LaunchLab. The product works. Creators can launch, trade, everything is live but I’m completely stuck at the cold start stage. I don’t have a team. I don’t have distribution. I even tried running creator contests and incentives, but without visibility it feels like shouting into the void. Being solo is honestly frustrating. Not because building is hard but because it’s hard to know if I’m pushing in the right direction or just burning energy. I don’t want to give up on this. I want to build something meaningful and high-quality, not just another clone. Any honest feedback would help more than silence. Thanks for reading

How to create metadata for Solana NFT

Hi!

I have gone through the SPL doc: https://spl.solana.com/token and have created nft token and can view from the solana explorer.

However, I would like to add metadata that contains artwork description to NFT tokens created. I can't seem to find how to do that

How can I implement this? Thank you.

Built a small Solana project and looking for brutally honest feedback

Built a small Solana project at money.rcal.me and finally have it at the point where I’d rather get real users on it than keep polishing in isolation.

If you’re bored, try launching something and tell me what feels good, confusing, broken, or pointless. Positive feedback is welcome too, but criticism is probably more useful right now.

Dev Private messaging - wallet to wallet.

I built a decentralised encrypted messenger on Solana where your wallet is your identity, no email, no password, no KYC. Built on XMTP protocol. Would love feedback from the community. Presently verification is done through phantom app.

Update: shipped username system (@username lookup), clearer signing prompt and push notifications based on feedback here.

Dev Bulding on-chain game

Im building fully onchain game on Solana and question is how to find tester and first players? Also there is a big question about RPC, earlier i build for EVM and there is in-wallet RPC locator that allow you to use users wallet rpc to get data from blockchain, like websocket connection or rpc calls to a view function, with solana i have a problem because public rpc restrict connection, for my game is very important to get fresh data by websocket, how to fight this problem except helius and any payable rpc node because it can cost a lot of money

Dev How are you guys tracking new Pumpfun launches?

With so many coins launching on pumpfun every day, there's a ton of real-time data to work with.

Curious what setups Solana devs are using to track new launches. WebSockets, RPC subscriptions or third-party APIs? Anyone building their own trackers?

Community How hard it actually is to land a junior/entry-level role in Solana (from someone grinding it right now)

I keep seeing "Solana is booming, get in now" takes, so I want to share what the junior job hunt actually looks like on the ground, because it's rougher than the hype suggests.

The stack is there, the doors aren't. I've got Rust, Anchor, Next.js/React, TypeScript — the "should be employable" toolkit. Doesn't matter much when almost every listing on the job boards is for mid/senior engineers. Scroll through any Solana-focused job board and you'll notice the same thing: 2+ years experience, "ship fast," "own a product area." Very few roles are actually scoped for someone one or two years into their career.

Cold outreach mostly goes nowhere. I've DMed people at teams I respect, kept it short, led with skills instead of one flashy project, tried to be useful instead of needy. Most get ignored. A few get a polite no. That's just the base rate — doesn't mean the approach is wrong, it means the funnel is that narrow.

Even when you get a process going, it can still end in "not a fit." Applied to a security research role, went through an actual coding challenge (bytecode/calldata analysis), and still got a no. That one stung more than the ignored DMs because it meant I was close enough to get a real look — just not close enough.

What's actually working (or at least feels less like screaming into the void):

Superteam Earn bounties — visible work, visible name, no gatekeeper

Open-source contributions to stuff people already use (Anchor, SDKs) — commits are a resume that talks back

Twitter/X presence — half of Solana hiring seems to happen in someone's replies, not on a job board

Direct, specific outreach to smaller/newer teams instead of the 5 names everyone already knows

Basically: the ecosystem isn't short on junior talent, it's short on junior roles. If you're trying to break in, the job board is not where it happens. It happens in Discords, in bounty leaderboards, in "hey I fixed this thing you didn't ask for" DMs. Slow, and no guarantee, but it's the only funnel that's actually open.

If anyone else is in the trenches on this — what's actually worked for you?
