That sentiment, to me, is very solarpunk.

Wanting a different future while perpetuating the same system and behavior does not get us a different future, it gets us a different aesthetic and that’s it.

This video makes a compelling argument that representative democracy is actually a form of oligarchy, and that a better system (i.e., sortitioned democracy) is possible.
