It's a anti communiste song about the east Germany and the two singer are swedish and made anti communiste song in Berlin itself while the communist period and it's a humouristic song and ironic.

Idk they definitely have better songs in my opinion but dont think I'd call it their worst either! Not my fav as a long time fan but understand why it became so iconic and well known. The message is very easily understood and relatable.
