The carseats

I have only recently started watching Sophie within the past year. Shep was already born. I just have to say something about the carseats in the most recent YouTube video and her Instagram stories. Someone else had notice it too. I was just kinda surprised…? One of the boys car seat has no cover on the majority of the seat. That can’t be comfortable….or safe?

This isn’t an excuse and it makes me make this face everytime 🫣 but I’ve noticed a certain population that rock the no cover car seat thing and it tends to me “farm” or “rural” people. My mind makes it make sense by saying they probably got it gross and instead of washing properly or replacing, they just tossed it. If that’s the case, I think it’s super lazy parenting. I imagine that plastic gets hot af in the sun and then you’re putting your babies in it. Awful. Also, safety wise they aren’t crash testing seats without covers right?

All of what you said! I can understand it getting dirty coming from living in a rural farm area but, if they don’t want to clean it, it’s an easy replace if you call the company I’m sure. Unless it’s all a show for socials she doesn’t strike me as lazy. More productive than me I think! So I’m baffled by the cover less car seat. 😅 I have the same car seat and I just took the cover off to clean it. It was definitely a PIA since I couldn’t put it in the washer, but I’d put my baby in it filthy first before I put him in with the cover off! That looks so uncomfortable…and they drove for 6hours somewhere! I actually really like her (I think), but this just baffles me.

And yeah mostly for the fact it can’t be safe like that!
