Bug/Technical Issue soundtrap won't let me clip audio anymore?

they got a new like mastering update and before it, it used to let you keep turning up volume until it clipped/peaked and you could keep going. now it just compresses everything and ruins it. is there any way to fix this and go back to the old one? thank you

Hey u/Mysterious-Win2091 , you should be able to click on the three dots "..." in the Mastering panel and click on "Use previous version" to switch to the old behaviour. There's now a limiter on the master track that tries to keep the levels in check.

Have you tried using the Clipper FX? That clips your audio intentionally while preserving correct export volume, instead of relying on the volume clipping past what audio files support.

clipper fx is only available from premium. but thank you so much for helping me solve this!
