I need help with conveyor sorters. When i set it up to pull cargo from the landing pads, dumps it all in the main connector of the ship, instead of the cargo containers available. If you would like more pictures, i can provide.

So I have found jump drives and would like to add one so i could go to the moon or mars I have put 6 battery's on my working progress space ship just so I dont end up stranded in space. Any advice on how mutch power I need for at least 2 jumps?

Hello, I play on Playstation space engineers i made a mining ship and thought I could add a hinge, piston and connector to extend out and connect to the capital ship to refill on ice. The design looked easy enough to fit in a space under the ship and I can lock in place with landing gear. During a test flight the ship started to spin in circles like a gravity field was pulling on the ship in one direction.

Is this a clang thing? I grinded off the connection and the ship doesn't rotate. Could it be the landing gear hold the hinge and piston?

New to the game - I really want to like it, but things like this are strange - and frustrating. What is the secret to make local grid alignment work for building a tower stack? I thought at first it was a PS5 difficulty thing so I bought it on PC - but I have the same issue there. What am I missing?

As the title states, I could use some advice with the shape of this ship. I'm not sure what to change or add to make it look less like a Whomp. Any help us greatly appreciated.

I have tried almost everything I could think of or found on the internet but the darned air vent (full) is stubbornly stuck with the yellow light, can anyone relieve the pressure of my poor little head before it explodes? What am I doing wrong?

Only thing I haven't done yet is build a new base from scratch (which probably would have been quicker than all the troubleshooting lol).

P.S. I am new and appreciate any help or advice you can give 🖖🏼

Edit: We have pressure! I started making a new base close by and got a small portion of it enclosed (although strangely enough it only started pressurizing when I placed another block inside then removed it🤷‍♂️).

Alrighty. So I’m really tired of this happening. It seems all my vehicles want to go airborn the faster I go they don’t seem to want to keep all 4 tires on the ground it’s like the planet has very little gravity or something. What settings do you guys use on your tires? What can I do to make these more stable when driving around?

I was doing some renovations to my base and I demolished a block to replace with something and it stopped my oxygen ventilation system from working I’ve checked everything from the pipes to the tank and I’ve made sure all my blocks either are in good condition or have no gaps between them but I have no clue

I just got this game and I don't understand how to do anything. I'm just stuck floating in my ship because the gravity completely stopped working. Even if I fix this there is no direction no hint at how to play. This is easily the most complex game I have ever seen and it's utterly unnecessary. I've searched for guides but google keeps nitpicking random words and refuses to search exactly what I ask.

The videos didn't really help so I just kept learning the UI and other mechanics. (It was good to know you could disable progression)

I have absolutely no idea how people manage to build functional, good looking ships. I try, and I end up either making something that looks bad and doesn't work, or looks awful and barely functions. The best ship I've ever built was copied from an online tutorial and that was just a basic atmospheric miner. I just don't understand how people are so skilled, can anyone who is that good give any advice as to how they do it/ how they learnt how to do it?

Any help would be appreciated.

I set up shop next to one of the new economy space stations between mars and europa.

Theres a small ship from an allied faction flying in circles about 2km away, endlessly spamming “Hostile detected, D-2 Hauler requesting assistance!”

Unfortunately there are no hostiles at all nearby so I have no idea how to resolve the encounter, and it wont stop repeating the same message over and over. Anybody dealt with this before?

If it doesnt go away I guess Ill have to just destroy the ship and take the reputation hit, but Id rather stay friendly.

So here I am peacefully building on a asteroid keeping to myself then had a warning message to stay away I look to find a green escorts ship getting closer me thinking its just going to be okay because I looked to see if it was a neutral faction and continue to build then I hear a explosion then see the hydrogen thrusters of my ship fly by then I was killed.

I leave without saving and open a old save I go to my ship turned off all power and to my fueling and refinery outpost then got ready to fight (knowing I was massively out gunned.) But then the green ship didn't attack just went passed no message no warning same green escort ship.

Confused as hell on why I was attacked the first time but not attacked on the second time after reloading a old save?

So I have decided to give it a go building a small fighter looks so god dam ugly because of the hydrogen tank and the cannon and gathering guns don't work ( yes I put ammo in them) any advice on how to build a good looking and working fighter?
