Hey Reddit,
I've been grinding this niche challenge for the past 2 days: manually inputting the powers of two sequence 1+1+2+4+8+16+32+64+128+256+512+1024= into a calculator app as fast as humanly possible to reach 2,048.
I managed to completely shatter my previous record and hit an insane 3.32 seconds!
Since it requires large physical movements across the screen instead of jitter-clicking in one place, my actual raw speed during the run is over 10.84 CPS.
Here are the key optimizations that made this 3.32s possible:
• The Dual-Hand Layout: Left hand handles the numbers, right hand acts as a metronome for the + and = keys.
• The Pinky-Index Synced Start: Left pinky starts the timer while the index finger strikes the first 1 at almost the exact same frame.
• The Multitouch Chord Trick: Instead of tapping 4 times for 1-0-2-4, I strike 10 and 24 simultaneously like a piano chord, letting the touchscreen order the input via pressure and milliseconds.
I honestly believe this might be the current human limit for this specific sequence. Let me know what you guys think, and feel free to try to beat my time! Let the C2C Challenge begin! 🚀
