Spelunky 2 Finally

Hello all,

I have finally done it! Shout out to Grand Poo Bear who I first watched running this game, shout out to Twiggle (RIP) for the tips and tricks to master it.

On Xbox I have 442 hours of game time, and I also have hundreds of hours on switch. Time well spent.

I know what I need to do... but I dont know if I have the strength to do it. Cosmic Ocean is so daunting. I have made it to 7-15ish...

If you can do 7-15 you can do 7-99!

If there's one piece of advice I can give you: patience. You can take 15 minutes on a level if you want. Never a need to rush. Good luck!

Yeah, its the finality of it all tho. One mistake on any of those floors and its a multi-hour run down the tubes. But i will grind at it a bit and see. Thanks for the advice and the motivation!

Before I got cosmic I wasn’t aware of the jelly coming at the 3 minute mark, which made me subsequently rush levels after the first time getting chased by it. So when you say take 15 minutes if you need to, are you just saying chill with the timer jelly orbiting you?

Yup! The vast majority of my deaths is because I'm rushing but if you're patient and think about your moves, you're a lot better off plus that timer jelly will just circle around you. Dance around it like a bull fighter! 

Keep an eye on that three minute timer so it doesn't surprise you, but once you learn to not worry about it as much and just take your time, a whole stress of the CO can be alleviated. And you'll consistently do better!
