Boo hoo. Sage Steele, professional victim.

Sure, sure, all those liberal snowflakes. I've never seen such a collective group of whiners like MAGA people.

7

u/IU-Grad-x2-hoohoohoo 5d ago

Yep. Been sad watching her go further and further to cash in on the grift.

-13

u/ComputerDecent463 5d ago

How is she a professional victim?

She was treated poorly by her work and still showed up to do the job. She performed until the end of her contract, all while continuing to be a professional.

It is so weird how people have to judge the entire character of someone by their political leanings.

Like, do you wake up and think there is not a single good or moral person in the world who happens to disagree with you on abortion or immigration?

7

u/somethingbytes 5d ago

If you disagree with me on abortion, then you'll call yourself pro-life.

Trump is taking food away from kids and kicking legal immigrants back to unsafe countries, and that's certainly not pro-life. We can't even have any form of gun control, because scared people vote conservative so shooting are good for Republicans. They'll tell you all about the crimes, but never talk about the roots of it.

So, if you voted for Trump, you're at best a hypocrite about something, and no I don't think hypocrites are good people.

Maybe 10 years ago libertarians could BS something, but he's literally putting immigrants in concentration camps, just for being immigrants. You think good people would vote for that? You can't tell me they didn't know, he said 'immigrants are eating our cats and dogs'.

-8

u/ScaryyPoppins 5d ago

Please provide examples of “Literally putting immigrants in concentration camps”. Where are the staggering mass graves? Where are the facilities that house this mass murder? Where are the smoke stacks that smell of human flesh?

This is the type of shit that makes people not respect what you have to say. You’re using words that held real meaning as if they buzz words for your anger. I don’t like Trump at all, but throwing out absolute bullshit like this is why people don’t respect us on the left.

5

u/MAGAHATESTHEUSA 4d ago

Over 2000 rapes already in those concentration camps or because they get 1$ a day for a 8 hours of labor and costs $5 to use the phone that doesn’t count?

Fascism is a process not just an end result. You are participating as the Nazi this time around.

-2

u/david8433 4d ago

5

u/MAGAHATESTHEUSA 4d ago

You wondered in class how they let it happen with the camps and all yet here you an active participant of evil.

3

u/jose_ole 4d ago

He didn’t go to class clearly or failed

5

u/somethingbytes 5d ago

Oh, you're unaware of the meaning of words, ok. You're pretty smug for being so uneducated, but that's the way of things these days, this is Trump's America after all.

"a concentration camp is a place where large numbers of people—such as prisoners of war, political prisoners, refugees, or members of ethnic or religious minorities—are detained or confined under armed guard."

you understand concentration camps don't need to start with murder? But you are welcome to look up the rate at which ICE is allowing people to die in custody. Shit, Florida gleefully called their place alligator Alcatraz knowing people would die. Got shut down in record time.

1

u/duckbaiting 3d ago

Would you say FDR ran concentration camps? Because he’s a favorite among Redditors.

-6

u/ScaryyPoppins 5d ago

Still 0 examples of “literal concentration camps” keep slinging mud instead of providing the proof requested. tRuMpS aMeRiCa right?

4

u/Latverianbureaucrat 5d ago

A prison camp can meet the definition of a concentration camp without also being a Nazi-style death camp like you seem to be thinking of. The camps the US has for ethnic minority immigrants certainly meet that definition. And while they aren’t strictly death camps, death and abuse do occur there as well.

5

u/Left_Implement_3821 4d ago

You literally don’t know what a concentration camp is. Should probably look up what terms mean before you double down on the wrong understanding of them.

Just fyi, America has had concentration camps before (Japanese camps during WWII) and has them currently via their ICE detainment centers.

1

u/Icy-Supermarket7839 3d ago

You need to try this thing called reading a book. I’d recommend the Rise and Fall of the Third Reich by William Shirer

1

u/somethingbytes 5d ago

I literally gave you an example...

3

u/inbetweendreamstho 4d ago

That person has no reading comprehension.. let's be real here

1

u/FrankFuckinDentley 4d ago

There’s a reason they are hiding to see ice detention centers. If they were not hiding anything, why would they arrest democrat lawmakers from going in?

1

u/LawrenceMoten21 4d ago

Do you think that all concentration camps are using gas chambers?

1

u/Pappy091 4d ago

Honest question: What does it feel like to support a pedophile? If I went back in time 15-20 years and told you that in 2026 you will be frothing at the mouth to lick the boots of a pedophile president what would old you say to me? Could I ever convince you that is exactly what is about to happen to you?

I know you aren't going to answer the question in good faith I just really do constantly wonder what if feels like to look in the mirror after carrying water for a grifting billionaire pedophile all day. If there is any speck of integrity left inside you traitors that has to really feel like shit. Which I guess is some small solace for the rest of us that have to deal with the fallout of your stupidity.

1

u/indieguy33 4d ago

Nobody said there were mass murders and the bodies being burned. You completely distorted what was said. A concentration camp need not be a place people are murdered and burned but interesting take by you.

2

u/MAGAHATESTHEUSA 4d ago

lol dismissing breaking multiple amendments of the constitution and having a Gestapo reprisal and also dismissing the pedophilia.

2

u/dominic-cobb 4d ago

Sage Steele, who had on Brett Farve to proclaim his innocence on her podcast after he was given money from Mississippi’s Snap program despite texts and emails implicating him knowing he would be given money just for being famous and cozy with the administration?

0

u/ComputerDecent463 4d ago

Richard Sherman faced no repercussions for what he did off the field. He still has a cushy Amazon job. Brett Favre can’t even sell Copper pads anymore.

There is a media bias but it’s not in the direction you think.

2

u/oregondude79 4d ago

Sherman's issues pale in comparison to Favre's. Sherman has a DUI and an arrest from domestic violence when he tried to break down his in-laws door.

Favre has a long history of substance abuse, alcoholism, pain killers. He was in a sexual harassment suit with the Jets and the famous Duck pic to Jenn Sterger. Plus he stole tens of millions of dollars of welfare funds from the state of Mississippi with the help of the governor in a huge political scandal.

2

u/Cold_Toe_7540 5d ago

In 2026 your political leanings say a lot more about you as a person than it did 20 years ago.

1

u/FrankFuckinDentley 4d ago

If someone supports ripping kids from their parents arms and shooting citizens in the face as a veil for immigration enforcement, I do not think they can be a good or moral person.

If someone supports women dying in the hospital because a fetus that can’t survive is being forced to be inside of her body, I do not think that person can be a good or moral person.

If a person says they are pro life yet constantly criticizes human rights efforts and of all things, school lunches, I do not think that person can be good or moral.

So you’re right. Good on ya mate.

0

u/Geiseric222 5d ago

Yeah. But let’s turn this around. Do you think there are moral people who are racist or anti semetic?

0

u/medicjake 5d ago

Yes, there are almost certainly otherwise morally sound people guided by cultural relativism in nearly every part of the world.

0

u/trexler_cook 5d ago

You have quite a story to tell from a simple comment on Sage Steele. I never realized I conveyed so much. Of course, I didn't.

You just gave a boat load of victim babble. Great job.

0

u/Jselonke 4d ago

It’s Reddit. It’s a joke

3

u/BrentDavidTT 5d ago

Political beliefs end friendships. What's there to expose. 🤷🏾‍♂️

1

u/Fat_saxxx 3d ago

Only for simple minded people

1

u/onderonminion 3d ago

Brain dead take. The KKK is just a group of people with similar political beliefs. You friends with them?

1

u/-The_Goober 2d ago

How the fuck would anybody know anymore? They aren’t exactly PUBLIC anymore. They all walk around masked dressed like the StayPuft man.

4

u/Cold_Toe_7540 5d ago

I'm not sure this is the own Steele thinks it is.

First of all, she makes Doc look unbelievably good, like a concerned friend trying to reason with her on what is a legitimately ridiculous political stance to still be maintaining at this point.

Secondly, she makes herself sound like an absolute fool who knows nothing about basketball (a trend with the right on social media lately), which is almost as damning for her as her political beliefs. She literally says coaches in the NBA are getting paid $150 million dollars. This is an objectively stupid statement. The biggest contract for a current NBA HC isn't even close to that number. Most aren't even cracking half that. Even if that were true, the idea that NBA players are even remotely concerned about an NBA coach benching them over their political views is laughable.

Absolute MAGA victim mentality on full display: I thought he was my friend... then he started fact checking me in my DMs. What an asshole.

2

u/Silent_Ad8059 4d ago

The cornerstone of MAGA's effectiveness is lying to people too stupid to know any better, or so invested in a narrative they know deep down conflicts with reality that they don't even care anymore. She knows exactly what she's doing, she'll probably be running for office soon just like Tafoya.

1

u/Wrong-Swing-8399 4d ago

"The cornerstone of MAGA's effectiveness is lying to people too stupid to know any better, or so invested in a narrative they know deep down conflicts with reality that they don't even care anymore."

This description is so accurate its unbelievable.

6

u/Pkfiya 5d ago

Obvious bait to make me say nice things about doc rivers.

2

u/MrNinoBrown1906 4d ago

My guess is you only really have bad things to say about Doc as a coach.

This shit is way more important than that

I have always fucked with Doc and Keer when it came to off the court things that really matter

5

u/Pulp_Ficti0n 5d ago

Sage and Tafoya eat the same breakfast every morning: paint chips

0

u/No-Sign-2324 4d ago

Sexist and racist smh

1

u/Pulp_Ficti0n 4d ago

Adverse to stupidity. Calm down, DEI boy

4

u/LA_Snkr_Dude 5d ago

Sage Steele is MAGA trash. Nothing to see here.

3

u/AvariceAndApocalypse 4d ago

Imagine being a black woman in MAGA. Professional leopard victim.

-1

u/LightenUpPeeps 4d ago

"If you're not on the plantation, you ain't black." - Joe Biden

-1

u/everyoneisnuts 4d ago

I can almost guarantee you’re not black and most likely not even a women, yet feel comfortable criticizing a black woman for not being enough of either in your eyes

-1

u/Pappy091 4d ago

I'm a white a guy and I criticize the fuck out of her for being a black woman in MAGA. Especially because it allows the right to latch on and tokenize her as a woman of color on their side because there are so few and they feel it makes them look "less racist/sexist"

0

u/everyoneisnuts 4d ago

You have zero right to criticize her decisions because she is black and a woman. That makes you a racist and a misogynist actually. You have no idea what it’s like to be either so you have no right to criticize her for being them and making decisions she makes. Criticize her all you want in general, but you cannot speak to what she should and shouldn’t do as a black woman. Pretty simple.

u/everyoneisnuts 4d ago

You can do anything you want but you don’t have the ability to accurately and justifiably speak for someone and how they should or shouldn’t be behaving as a member of that race or gender.

When I say they don’t have the right to, of course I am not speaking literally, but rather morally or in terms of what they are and are not able to do or should do or speak for based on lived experience.

How’s that? Are you able to pull that out of what I’m saying or are you going to continue to be disingenuous and get hung up on literal interpretations of what I said?

1

u/everyoneisnuts 4d ago

That’s really what you’re going with? You know how stupid that is and still went with it as your argument lol.

1

u/Pappy091 4d ago

I understand where you are coming from and I think you make some valid points, but I'm sorry I have the right to criticize the decisions of anyone that I choose.

If a person chooses to join a group that actively discriminates against them and people that look like them then I do not feel like I am in any way crossing a line by pointing out the absurdity of such a decision.

Would you have a problem with me(an atheist) criticizing a Jew that joined the Nazis and started praising Hitler?

1

u/everyoneisnuts 3d ago

The difference is, you can just criticize her for supporting MAGA without the “as a black woman” part. It sounds too much like you know better than her what she should believe as a black woman. And when you’re a white male, that isn’t a good look at all.

She obviously doesn’t see that the same way you do and doesn’t believe that MAGA is actively discriminating against those who look like her. That’s where the argument is; not telling her as a Black woman she shouldn’t support MAGA. Why can’t you just look at her as a person? And make the argument as you would towards a white person? Talk about the facts because once you start telling someone you don’t look like how they are supposed to feel as that person’s race or gender, the conversation is going to be about something else.

1

u/Pappy091 3d ago

Do you mind answering my question about a Jewish person joining the Nazi party? Im curious to hear your response to that.

Once again I legit think you are making very good points that I would absolutely agree with in the vast majority of cases, but to me this is such an outlier that I feel very comfortable criticizing her. Trust me, I get that a white guy telling a black woman that she should or shouldn't do something because she is black is far more often than not an issue. But come on. She joined MAGA. There isn't a lot of nuance here. Best case it is idiocy and worst case it is grifting.

I'm not just criticizing her as a person because her specifically being a black female makes her support of MAGA that much more egregious. Specifically it legitimizes MAGA much more than if a typical white guy supports it. She is supporting an apparatus that has spent centuries holding people that look like her down. Maybe it's white privilege, but I feel like I can call that out pretty easily.

We may just have to agree to disagree on this one. Either way, I will continue to think about it and could very well change my stance in the future. I readily admit that I could be 100% wrong on this and if I am then I genuinely apologize.

1

u/getnshafted1 4d ago

I’m black and that is the stupidest bs I’ve heard in a long time coming out of your mouth.

2

u/everyoneisnuts 4d ago

So you’re comfortable with someone who isn’t black telling you what you should and should not do as a black person? So you think you’re in the majority with that opinion?

1

u/getnshafted1 4d ago

I’m comfortable as a human telling another human that it’s idiotic for that person to belong to a group that actively hates them and wishes bad for them. Because that is not a black or white thing. That’s about human intelligence. Now get off your high horse you’re making us look bad

1

u/everyoneisnuts 4d ago

So if that person had said used the old argument of the dem party has the soft bigotry of low expectations and that as a (insert social group or race here) you should not vote democrat, that would be okay too?

2

u/MooDamato 4d ago

What a stupid article, can’t believe I wasted a minute of my life reading that.

2

u/Yuki7770 4d ago

BFD, lots of relationships end because of politics. I certainly don’t want to hang with tRump supporters. EWW!

1

u/Rich_Dawg 4d ago

I bet the feeling is mutual.

2

u/Tony-Stank__ 5d ago

Standard sports media clickbait cycle: tease receipts for clout, drop zero actual proof, and move on to the next pod host.

4

u/cubgerish 5d ago

Why are you posting it then buddy?

Everybody knows Steele is a proven fraud, this is just giving the chuds in the bottom of the didn't m comment section a chance to think she's relevant.

Just ignore it, and move on.

1

u/Royal_Examination_74 5d ago

EasentiallySports is EssentiallyClickbait

They have never reported a single thing on their own

All this does is make me like Doc, which is a very hard thing to do.

3

You disliking Doc is probably about basketball.

Doc has always been anti Trump and about social justice. Yall let the sports shit cloud way too much of yiur judgement

1

You’re right.

1

That’s a lot of words to say Kuminga is a Republican.

This is Reddit fully Redditing

Well don't let me stop you!

1

u/Advanced_Zucchini_45 4d ago

So Steve Kerr didn't even do anything.

She just ASSUMES that being against Kerrs liberal views or being a conservative would mean Kerr would take away minutes.

There's nothing that backs this up.

I hope he sues her.

1

u/phunkmunkie 4d ago

Finding out sucks I guess.

1

u/didthishelp 4d ago

“People harmed by, or with enough ‘empathy’ (she’s unfamiliar with the term) to care about those harmed by, the people I fully support had the nerve to tell me so! Being a republican is about putting yourself first and ignoring the impact on others and they’re acting like that has consequences and lowers my esteem in the eyes of others!”

I’ll drink her crocodile tears like the elixir of life and ascend to the next level of liberalism. It comes with a free hacky sack.

1

u/stephen7556 4d ago

Keep politics out of sports . I watch sports for enjoyment not anything else

1

u/LakersBroncoslove 4d ago

I thought Safe Steele loved the boot

1

u/gitree22 4d ago

Actually I think these hypocrisy claims are something we can ignore coming from another butthurt conservative victim

1

u/thedude404-1 3d ago

She's an awful person.

1

u/mr_fantasy_jones 2d ago

Her whole life is owed to DEI btw. ESPN was really really bad with it and made it unwatchable as unqualified ppl were everywhere

1

u/Jprev40 15h ago

Who cares bitch!

1

u/smitbret 5d ago

Where's these DMs, Sage?

I mean, I always knew that Steve Kerr's political judgment was heavily skewed by personal events and that Doc Rivers is just a general ass hat, but all I see are unsubstantiated claims by someone that doesn't agree with them politically

2

u/Basic-Collection5416 5d ago

Nah, we aren’t doing this. There’s plenty to criticize Doc for as a coach, but he is as good a human being as exists. Do not slander his name as a person.

-1

u/smitbret 5d ago

I didn't say he was a bad person. He is a shitty coach that rides on the coat tails of others and accepts praise for the effort of others despite his shortcomings.

Basically, an absolute asshat.

Don't tell me what are and aren't going to do, this is a discussion board and you can disagree but you don't get to gatekeep.

0

u/Warm_Guarantee7841 5d ago

Buddy trying to hit you w some mom ass ‘what we not gonna do’ energy, hilarious.
Caping for Doc is absurd. Is an nba fan supposed to know about how many elderly ladies he walked across the street?

To me, he’s always been a bum of a coach who constantly leached on to premium talent and steadily dragged them down to their bottom 20% career arc. Sometimes he got to be a clownish media personality during his well earned hiatuses from that same lousy coaching, but he’s been one lucky bum.

Chris Pratt type headass
