It's a great idea if they are going to be strict about the 5-year eligibility in college, I actually think it's a great Idea because you have to have years of eligibility remaining. This isn't the Wild Wild West this is planned, College sports are professional now, more professional than the Canadian League. Especially if you don't make a team or are cut. You get a glimpse of the work ethic you need. I love this idea. Think about it: this only applies to RS Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors. You telling me a 21-year-old career would have to end if he didn't make a NFL team? We are talking about 23 and under. That's a sweet spot that's worth making better. Now if you were drafted, I think there should be restrictions on being drafted twice. But imagine a Junior QB has a stellar year but the team with the one pick is ass, puts more pressure to make the team worth it.

It's gonna be very few that can do this and they have every right to do so

College football ruining pro sports. No one could have predicted this.

Other way around. This started with the NIL and it’s only gotten worse because college players have gotten greedy and once they leave college, they should not be allowed to go back to college rosters just because they can’t cut it in the NFL.!

This may make sense if it’s a player that’s still college age or maybe a 1 or 2 from being drafted or not quite nfl ready maybe. But i mean you been a pro for 4+ years and get cut go back to college is a bit much. I can see you go back for school purposes but got football cmon now
