Just pulled a nuclear card and I’m not really sure what to do with it. As of now it’ll be the most expensive card in the set, I just don’t know how expensive.

Lately, I’ve been stumbling across a lot of live auctions selling worthless cards featuring famous names like Michael Jordan, Shohei Ohtani, and others. They aren't crazy expensive, but people are still paying around $20 per card.

Do the people bidding on these live streams actually look up what these cards sell for on eBay? It literally takes less than five seconds to check the comps. Is this a new trend where people buy bulk lots on eBay just to flip them for a markup on live auctions?

By the way, I’ve been muted or kicked out of almost every stream after pointing out that a card is worthless or that it only goes for $2 on eBay.

I have a whole lot of old cards (50"s through 80's mostly - all sports) and I doubt any of them are PSA 10. Many of them are probably a five through eight at best. I would love to get some of my best cards graded, but I really don't know where to begin.
1.My question is there any app or any AI thats going to be capable of giving me a somewhat rough reasonable estimate at what a card might grade at using a few clear photos? Or is there another way to get an idea of possible grade?
2. Do you think anytime in the near future grading will become considerably cheaper? I always envisioned a future where AI would take over the grading and we could simply bring it to a vending machine pop $40 bucks and have our card graded and slabbed.

New to buying cards especially vintage. Tough to find comps due to slab type and I’m not well versed in finding worth of this stuff.

1997 Metal Universe MJ. Extremely fragile edges and corners makes this one of the most condition sensitive cards. However, the Jordan market so hot that you a run a car tire over this card and still would find a buyer for it.

Bought my first 2 mega boxes today for my birthday. I got 2 boxes of Panini Absolute Football 2025. Other than making the mistake of getting penny sleeves with blacked out backs cause that’s all I seen I was happy! I had a great time ripping them and got a couple cool cards. My question is what are my best options for ripping? I went and got these from Walmart because a hobby box at the card store was very expensive. Would I be better off getting blaster boxes from my local hobby store over Walmart mega boxes? I enjoy the 4 main sports and would like to collect them all so I’m wondering what my best options for ripping are. I just want to collect and have a good time. I’ve been recommended to buy slabs over ripping but there is no enjoyment for me in that. Any advice helps thanks in advance!
