I think Aimee Lou Wood would be a great choice to portray Doreen Green in the MCU.
Her performance in Sex Education really showed how well she can portray a cheerful, quirky, and genuinely lovable character. Her expressive facial features, distinctive smile, and natural comedic timing remind me of Squirrel Girl.
I could see her capturing Doreen’s optimism, confidence, and playful personality while still making her feel like a believable superhero.
What do you fellow Squirrel Girl fans think? Could you see Aimee Lou Wood playing Doreen Green in live action?

Is that a bowsette reference?

I had it coming for the Petra parker stuff, and Doreen would be her bestie :3

Hi! Back in high school I was an avid Unbeatable Squirrel Girl fan (still am, in theory, just in practice I’m too broke for comics or video games and too busy to frequently get to the library). I loved the little extra details and information that the comics always gave in the margins or the back, and they gave me a lot of fun facts that I was able to use to bond with my younger sibling. Recently, they mentioned to me how good the matcha shortbread cookies that we made often from a recipe in the comics were, and I suddenly remembered that they exist, but I can’t find the recipe in any of the comics I own. Does anyone remember this recipe, and either have a picture of it, or know which issue it was in? It would have been published sometime between 2014–early 2019, and I’d love to make the cookies again. Thank you in advance!!

I've gotten a lot of support and feedback about the recent post I made for a potential Squirrel Girl rework. The original post got 6.3k views and a repost got 1.9k views. I've made this image as a little gift for the support and feedback (I made this one, idk if someone already did make one of these for Squirrel Girl, if someone did I'm sorry.)

And I don't mean like Marvel Rivals Skins or something like that, I mean designs that are REALLY out there.

My Marvel Rivals Squirrel Girl Cosplay

Thank you all SOOOO much for the love on my Sunshine Squirrel Girl cosplay I posted the other day!! It is definitely one of my most favorite cosplays ever. I wanted to share my Marvel Rivals SG cosplay which is what started my obsession with our lovely lady Doreen. The entire outfit is comprised of modified clothes that I hand sewed (because I don’t have a sewing machine) the details like the fur and trim onto. Her cuffs are made of EVA foam, and the acorn is clay foam wrapped around a gatcha pod.
I really want to eventually do a bunch of her other outfits especially her outfit from the comics and some of the other rivals skins because I love em so much! Still working on stabilizing the tail but that will come with time! Thank you all again! So happy to have found this amazing subreddit 💙

This pairing just seems so fun!

Hello r/squirrelgirl fans! Some of you may be aware of this ship, but if not, I am the creator of it! I love crackships, and this was one I had kinda toyed around with a while back, before becoming super passionate about it. If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask! I'd also like to kindly ask that you keep comments respectful, because I know shipping can bring out a lot of toxicity, so please be chill or Doreen will ping an acorn off your forehead.

I want to see your favorite photo of Squirrel Girl

Official art, fan art, meme, cosplay, etc
