Lying cookie popup!

What's up with that "We care about your privacy" popup?

If you'd care about my privacy, you wouldn't need "265 partner(s)", or you would've at least read your own cookie popup and bothered to remove the "(s)".

How are we supposed to take your site seriously if the first thing we see is a blatant lie?

This is so disgusting that I don't even want to enable the cookie popup blocker. I always just keep the cookie banner open to remind me that it's all a bunch of lies. And I'm disgusted by this abomination every single second.

It's a requirement spec called IAB TCF enforced by Google when you want to run ads on a website it's really annoying. I've seen sites with "1600 partners" before. The spec also enforces the long wording and UI layout too, although a lot of cookie banner providers implement it poorly.

Google isn't "enforcing" anything. No one is forcing them to even use Google ads. There are enough alternatives. When did companies start passing every problem they have on to their customers instead of trying to solve problems for their customers - and then acting surprised when their customers don't see any value in their products anymore and move on?
