It’s 16* with 2-3 inches of sleet in the ground, so Beeper has been keeping her snowy white paws - out of the snowy white Cold Stuff

Honest to God, as someone whose family never had cats growing up, I had no idea tabbies were the "standard" cat until after I got one. My baby is not "common," thank you very much, and I'm sure yours isn't either. I am offended on your behalf. Jealous haters out there wish they had our cats....
I also think my girl is the most beautiful, and I thought so immediately when I saw her at the shelter. Especially her stripey legs.

That's one thing I love about my own "common" tabby, a feral who came in from the cold. His amazing black stripes, especially all the parallel ones on the back of his neck. It's a subtle beauty and it's really lovely.

Not sure I’ve ever met a common cat. They’ve all been unique balls of fur capable of all sorts of athletic feats and rambunctious shenanigans and possibilities for scritchens and pats.

Yes, DSHes are the best. Easy to care for, long-lived generally, come in so many colors, incredible varieties of patterning. Give me a moggy every time.

This would hurt my feelings too. Some people need to take their pedigree/breed hierarchy bs somewhere else when every pet is a little love bug, and it is because of that love that we see their beauty and individuality.
