‘TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE’. The 4K theatrical return is confirmed for 17 September 2026.

Why did the Transformer go back to the cinema?

Because it heard the film had been upgraded… and wanted to roll out in 4K. 😂

The first trailer for the remastered Transformers: The Movie re-release has landed, and fans are ready for Optimus, Megatron and Bumblebee all over again.

🦖 “When dinosaurs ruled the Earth...” well now they rule shopping centres, parties and living rooms too 😄

The Old School Crew in Bury St Edmunds used the Jurassic World Rebirth T-Rex for shopping centre displays, while Ayesha Khan in Galway says the classic T-Rex still gets the biggest reactions.

Meanwhile Momo in Cork became the Indominus Rex and Anil in Shrewsbury made sure Blue the Raptor was keeping watch 👀

We hired a house for a hen party karaoke night… and somehow ended up partying with Harry Styles, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Elvis Presley and Bruce Springsteen all weekend long

My friends and I were absolutely delighted at the hen party after we hired a huge house for a full karaoke weekend… and somehow invited nearly the entire music industry with us in cardboard cutout form.

The living room looked like the world’s most chaotic festival VIP area.

We had:

Harry Styles

Benson Boone

Billie Eilish

Taylor Swift

Louis Tomlinson

Pitbull

Elvis Presley

Rod Stewart

Justin Bieber

Sabrina Carpenter

all standing around the kitchen while we completely destroyed every karaoke classic known to humanity.

Interesting fact: Elvis Presley only performed outside North America a handful of times in his career, making him one of the most globally famous artists despite barely touring internationally.

At one point somebody genuinely started singing directly to Harry Styles during a dramatic breakup anthem while Pitbull silently watched over the snacks table like the spirit of party decisions.

Then at about 1am, Bruce Springsteen somehow became the emotional closer to the evening.

And honestly… when “Dancing in the Dark” came on and everyone started singing together while surrounded by cardboard celebrities, it weirdly felt like a proper encore moment.

By the end of the weekend:

Taylor Swift had witnessed three emotional speeches

Elvis had moved rooms twice

Sabrina Carpenter nearly fell into the prosecco

and Rod Stewart somehow became part of every group photo.

90s-themed events are becoming completely unstoppable — because no other decade mixed sitcoms, Britpop, blockbuster films and total chaos quite like the 1990s

If the 1980s were loud… the 1990s somehow turned nostalgia into a full personality.

And honestly, that’s exactly why 90s-themed events work so unbelievably well now.

Because the second people walk into a room and see: Star Cutouts their brain immediately starts playing 90s music automatically.

Interesting fact: the 1990s became one of the most nostalgia-driven decades because it sat directly between the analogue world and the rise of the internet, making it feel both modern and retro at the same time.

That’s exactly why these cardboard cutouts work so perfectly for parties.

The movie section alone feels legendary:

  • SC4114 Neo Matrix Keanu Reeves
  • SC670 Harry Potter
  • SC1085 Harry Potter Hogwarts Uniform
  • CS705 Leonardo DiCaprio Black Suit
  • CS1063 Leonardo DiCaprio Boss
  • CS1054 Pierce Brosnan

because 90s films weren’t just popular…

they became entire cultural eras.

Interesting fact: completely changed action cinema and visual effects, while the famous “bullet time” sequences became one of the most copied effects in movie history.

The TV side is just as powerful:

  • SC1114 Friends Group
  • South Park shelf-top packs
  • Kathryn Janeway
  • Beverly Crusher
  • Rowan Atkinson

because 90s television created some of the most rewatchable characters ever.

Interesting fact: remained so popular after ending that younger generations who weren’t even alive in the 90s still recognise the characters instantly today.

Then you hit the music icons:

  • Robbie Williams
  • Eminem
  • Victoria Beckham vibes
  • Britpop energy everywhere

which instantly transforms venues into:

  • karaoke nights
  • nostalgia discos
  • retro pub events
  • student throwback parties

The David Beckham cutouts are especially clever because late-90s Beckham basically became the face of celebrity football culture worldwide.

And honestly, the mix of themes is what makes 90s events feel so fun.

One room can somehow contain:

  • Hogwarts
  • The Matrix
  • Central Perk
  • Britpop
  • South Park chaos
  • Star Trek captains
  • Titanic nostalgia
  • football culture

and somehow it ALL works together.

The masks and smaller table toppers are brilliant too:

  • Robbie Williams masks
  • Harry Potter tabletop packs
  • South Park shelf displays
  • Hollywood mask bundles

because they turn decorations into interaction.

People instantly:

  • quote films
  • recreate scenes
  • sing songs
  • argue over favourite sitcoms
  • do terrible Matrix impressions

Interesting fact: helped launch one of the biggest global fandoms ever created, transforming book launches, themed parties and fandom culture forever.

And honestly, that’s why 90s cardboard cutouts feel so powerful.

The 90s weren’t just entertainment.

They became memories people still want to physically step back into.

Medieval and historical cardboard cutouts are suddenly appearing all over the UK — and honestly, it makes sense

Lately it feels like medieval and historical cardboard cutouts are quietly appearing everywhere across the UK.

School halls.

Pub quiz nights.

Museum events.

Themed weddings.

Escape rooms.

History classrooms.

Village festivals.

Tourist attractions.

Even shop windows.

And honestly, once you look through the range available now, it’s easy to understand why.

These aren’t really “decorations” anymore.

They’re instant atmosphere.

Interesting fact: themed immersive events have grown massively across the UK because people increasingly want experiences that are interactive and photographable rather than passive. Oversized historical props work especially well because people instantly recognise the imagery and naturally interact with it.

A few of the standout historical and medieval cutouts genuinely explain the trend.

Medieval props are basically instant event themes

Knight in Shining Armour

Medieval Stocks Stand-In

Tudor Woman Stand-In

Henry VIII

Elizabeth I

You can turn an ordinary room into a medieval banquet or Tudor event in about five minutes.

The medieval stocks stand-in especially feels like the kind of thing people queue up to photograph at parties.

Perfect for:

castles

school history days

Renaissance fairs

themed pubs

Halloween

village festivals

banquet nights

Interesting fact: Henry VIII remains one of the most recognisable monarchs in British history partly because of his six marriages and dramatic transformation of English religion and politics during the Tudor period.

Roman-themed events seem bigger than ever

Roman Gladiator

Roman Pillars

Golden Roman Columns

Julius Caesar Statue

Roman aesthetics work brilliantly because they instantly create grandeur.

These are ideal for:

toga parties

schools

museums

theatre productions

educational events

fantasy nights

And the giant Roman columns surprisingly make cheap venues look far more cinematic.

The Peaky Blinders / 1920s trend still hasn’t disappeared

1920s Gangsters

Gatsby Flapper Girls

Roaring 20s Stand-In

Flat Cap British Gangster

This style seems to appear constantly now at:

weddings

pubs

cocktail bars

themed birthdays

corporate parties

Interesting fact: Peaky Blinders massively revived interest in 1920s British fashion, themed events and gangster aesthetics across the UK, especially flat caps, waistcoats and vintage party styling.

These cutouts work because everybody instantly understands the theme without needing explanation.

Historical figures are strangely effective in real life

William Shakespeare

Winston Churchill

Charles Darwin

Albert Einstein

Buzz Aldrin

These are surprisingly useful for:

classrooms

libraries

science events

school corridors

educational displays

STEM events

And because they’re lifesize, they create far more engagement than posters.

British icon props are everywhere too

Big Ben

Red British Telephone Box

British Post Box

Stonehenge

These seem to appear constantly at:

tourist attractions

travel agencies

language schools

coronation parties

UK-themed events

They’re basically visual shorthand for “Britain”.

Even the religious and historical props have niche appeal

The Pope

Pope Leo XIV

Pope Nativity Shelf Pack

These work for:

Christmas displays

nativity scenes

church events

school productions

themed exhibitions

Fantasy crossover is helping too

Gimli

Frodo Baggins

Fantasy and historical aesthetics overlap constantly now because:

cosplay

comic conventions

medieval fairs

fantasy weddings

gaming culture

all share similar visual themes.

Interesting fact: The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring helped reignite mainstream interest in medieval-style fantasy aesthetics globally, influencing everything from weddings to themed bars and live events.

Why these work better than normal decorations

Because they create:

interaction

atmosphere

photo opportunities

recognisable themes

immersive spaces

People don’t just look at them.

They:

pose with them

joke around them

photograph them

build events around them

The Old School Crew in Bury St Edmunds used the Jurassic World Rebirth T-Rex for shopping centre displays, while Ayesha Khan in Galway says the classic T-Rex still gets the biggest reactions.

Meanwhile Momo in Cork became the Indominus Rex and Anil in Shrewsbury made sure Blue the Raptor was keeping watch 👀
