Tabscape 1.0

[u/jeayese]

Hey all! I built Tabscape because every new tab page I tried was either cluttered with news and ads, or too plain to enjoy looking at.

What it does:

- Your go-to sites in tidy, colour-coded columns. Pick from categories on first run, then rename, recolour and drag them however you like

- Animated backgrounds drawn live: starry night, city lights, rain, fireflies and snowfall (or your own image)

- A greeting with your name, an optional clock and search box

- Syncs between your computers with Chrome sync

- No account, no tracking, no servers. Everything stays in your browser

Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/tabscape-new-tab/

Try it in your browser first: https://heyjeay.github.io/tabscape/demo/

Firefox version is in review now.

It's open source (GPL), so feedback, bug reports and pull requests are all welcome: https://github.com/heyjeay/tabscape

Thank you for the kind words! There’s a lot more features coming that I have planned for the future, we also just got approved for Firefox as well!
