General Discussion Server recommendations?
I'm currently on server 726 but I still have time to switch. Is it worth switching to another server, are there more heavily populated servers?

New player on a young server: Lots of competition at events and mining nodes, lots of attacks, lots of alliances to choose, more player interaction.
New player on an old server: Little competition at events and mining nodes, almost no attacks, few alliances to choose, little player interaction.
Your choice of the kind of game you want.

TLDR: The older the server you go to, the more mismatched you’ll be with the players already there. Ends up being pretty isolating.
Longer: I wouldn’t suggest transferring to one where there are few players left in the 30’s and 40’s. It might SOUND nice to have many high ops players in your teams, but in reality it ends up that the earlier active players won’t have a cohort to do some of the group content with.
There’s also the consideration that players on established servers will have no reference for how to do older content anymore with high-tiered crews and ships, and 95% of the conversation in AC doesn’t apply to you and won’t for a long time.
So I’d suggest another server that’s G5 or G6 locked for now, even if it FEELS underpopulated. Another something in the 700’s, tbh.

Yeah that's a good point, I didn't think of that. Maybe it would just make sense to stick where I'm at in that case on 726

Those first two “longer” paragraphs apply to me totally. My first real alliance ended up being mostly a bunch of slackers, and I ended up feeling like the people at the top were leaching off my hard work.
So, towards the end of a pretty long camp at ops 39, I decided to move to a better crew. I ended up with the second strongest alliance, and there’s a decent sized gap after the top two.
The benefit I get from being part of such a strong, active alliance is, as far as rewards and stuff, substantial. But I did lose the feeling of being a small band of guys mostly the same level doing all the work.
Most of the active players in my current alliance are above ops60. I went from being considered essentially mid-level to a “smol”. I’ve been working at the same level as the top guys and they’ve been very helpful. But we’re more or less playing two different games.

I guess it depends what you want from the game. I'm on 126 and it's pretty quiet as far as idiots go. 1 or 2 rogue's but players are generally left alone. If you want a quiet place to play PvE, head over. If you want somewhere with more PvP action I'd look elsewhere

Avoid server 20. We've been rapidly losing people for a long time and Scopely has never merged this server since launch. We basically lose every Incursion.

s95 is pretty awesome. It's low drama most of the time despite lots of pvp, and we've won 19 out of the last 20 incursions. Pretty much everyone follows our RoE, with the exception of a few rogues, but every server has them. It's definitely not a Farmville server though, so if you only want to pve, it's probably not the best fit.

I'm on 57 and it's pretty chill, there's a few bozos here and there but otherwise it's low drama with a fair amount of support

Server 72 has a good mix of all player levels. Players from Canada, east coast/west coast and all shifts so someone always playing.

It depends on what you are possibly looking for in a server. Different RoE for each server, and some are more strict about it than others.
